January 26, 201115 yr How can I get a boot log? NOT THE SYSLOG. I want a log of all applications loading during the unRAID boot - output of everything loading before and during the GO script. Thank you
January 26, 201115 yr you could type dmesg cat dmesg > /boot/bootlog Doesn't seem to cover it all, but it should give you more info. Normally things are kept in the /var/log/ area, but I don't see the messages folder. Then again I get confused going from RedHat to Slackware to Redhat to BSD to Slackware. So sometimes my memory gets a little fuzzy.

Thank you The syslog contains some of that info, assuming the apps you have installed are properly writing to the syslog. dmesg will also give you some info.
