  • [6.7.0-rc4] syslog download does not include rotated logs

    When the syslog is rotated, the older syslogs are written to a syslog.? file with an appended numeric value.  These logs are shown in the syslog display, but are not included in the download.  Only the /var/log/syslog file is downloaded.

    True, the current (and earlier) implemention only downloads the syslog file, in that respect it works as designed.

    So I won't call it a bug but more a feature request :) 

     

    Ps. diagnostics will collect all available syslog files

    Priority Definitions

     

    Minor = Something not working correctly.

     

    Urgent = Server crash, data loss, or other showstopper.

     

    Annoyance = Doesn't affect functionality but should be fixed.

     

    Other = Announcement or other non-issue.
