  • [6.8.0-rc3] RAID0 cache pool, data writing not stripe equally

    I setup a new RAID 0 pool under 6.8rc3, but notice data writing to disk members not stripe in balance and write performance drop a lot. ( The pool are new format and full balance before writing data in )

    Yes, no error found in syslog. I suspect something cause during create the pool ( both disk have partition individual, when new add to pool oddly mountable which haven't prompt to format, then I manual delete all partition and recreate the pool )

     

    BTW, I haven't change anything then reboot Unraid, then all resume normal.

    Priority Definitions

     

    Minor = Something not working correctly.

     

    Urgent = Server crash, data loss, or other showstopper.

     

    Annoyance = Doesn't affect functionality but should be fixed.

     

    Other = Announcement or other non-issue.
