  • 6.5.3 cache pool bug?

    • Minor

upgraded my cache from single 500gb SSD on HBA to PCI-e SUN accelerator card w/ 4 independent SSDs.  Install is fine, converted to RAID 0 pool, and now shares no longer report as having "unprotected" files.  Does unraid see a cache pool and now think it is in RAID 1 although I converted?

Most likely unRAID only checks the number of cache devices, and if >1 considers it's a protected pool, since raid1 is the default pool mode, and doesn't actuality check the btrfs profile in use.

Correct.  The 'proper' fix for this is to make btfrs raid0/1 selectable, something we plan on adding.
