    • Annoyance

I have started seeing an nginx error in system log-

ngin*144 user "root" was not found in "/etc/nginx/htpasswd-logout"x error

Started a thread in general support and @bonienl recommended a bug report as well.

I don't see this happening... what is the contents of the file "/etc/nginx/htpasswd-logout"?  From terminal you can type:

    cat /etc/nginx/htpasswd-logout

(It's ok to post, it's not secret data.)

    logout:$5$Hs14f/EoGD$W3mJTH2IUgHcgLAsoTBPe7DHL8paN/dlcjnPE2Wi8bBlogout

This is after downgrading to 6.6.3 (due to crond issue) and associated reboot, so may not be useful.
