  1. Thanks for the comment Simon, I believe I have figured out the issue, and will post my board json as an example for others when I get everything sorted. I have a different issue though, when I trouble shooting I was uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. It seems something has gotten corrupt as I have lost the config tab, and when I try to open something I get new tab opening localhost/update.php Any idea what I need to delete or remove reinstall to fix that issue? Found the .php log and am getting this error: thrown in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ipmi/include/ipmi_helpers.php on line 389 [06-Apr-2025 20:37:38 Europe/London] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: array_key_exists(): Argument #2 ($array) must be of type array, null given in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ipmi/include/ipmi_helpers.php:389 Stack trace: #0 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/include/DefaultPageLayout.php(769) : eval()'d code(159): get_fanctrl_options() #1 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/include/DefaultPageLayout.php(769): eval() #2 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/template.php(94): require_once('/usr/local/emht...') #3 {main} thrown in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ipmi/include/ipmi_helpers.php on line 389
  2. Hi, I have an Asrock RomeD8-2T. I have the IMPI tool setup so that I can see my fans and all my sensors etc, through the IPMI, so when I go to tools the RPM of the fans appears. I have followed the instructions in an earlier post which provided adjusted scripts to provide access to the fan control on my board. That user had the same bios and BMC versions. After a bit more investigation it seems that the current script when i reinstall is the same, so that does not appear to be the issue. I am however unable to control the fans, and any time i attempt to configure it just fails. I am able to manually set the fans in the Asrock controller, so the IMPI is able to control the fans. Any idea on what I might be able to do?
  3. Apologies should have been clear, I was referring to the log quoted. If there is any other place I can go to look for an error message please let me know.
  4. I run a ryzen setup with a 16 core chip and a number of different VMS I use for different purposes. I run two gpus for this, a 2070S and 6600XT. I run the main windows on the 2070S with an NVME drive. I swap between VMs on the 6600xt on various drives one of which is NMVE, and 2 sata drives. I am having an issue with the secondary VMs. I recently updated the chip from a 3950X to 5950X. Everything worked fined until about an hour a go. The secondary VM that normally auto boots from one of the sata drives did not start and gave the error. On investigation both the alternatives do start. If bare metal boot from the relevant drive there is no issue. If I swap the ID of the drive in the XML to the other sata drive, it boots without issue. So it seems to me : - there is no issue with the sata drive as bare metal boot works fine - there is no issue with XML as swapping the drive works fine I am at a loss where to even go from here. So any help appreciated. Could it be that the sata is drive is on the chiplet and i need to randomly swap sata ports? Log of VM boot below: XML of VM :
