  3. Hi, After every reboot the samba permission on the following folders are reset to 0755 instead of 0700. And then samba will not start. Any one can point me in the right direction to fix this ? I have put the permissions to 0700 now but after a reboot it will be back to 0755 See also the error code of samba below. Aug 22 11:21:51 Tower wsdd2[5764]: 'Terminated' signal received. 4. Hi all, I am running Unraid 6.10.3 and last night was the second night in row that my unread become unresponsive the only way to get Unraid working again is to do a hard reset. but I am not able to get it figure out what the problem is, as after reboot no errors exists. Is there anyone that can check my system diagnostics and put me in the right direction? I have checked cache usage but its not using all of it so I have really no idea why its freezing up in the night. tower-diagnostics-20220815-0713.zip

  6. Hi, I also got the same problem and its annoying me now. I have updated to 6.9.1 but still no succes, when i manually spin my disk down. After a while they will be spun up again and i see the following in the logs: Apr 2 19:49:45 Tower emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sdd Apr 2 19:52:09 Tower emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sde Apr 2 19:52:47 Tower emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sdh Apr 2 19:52:47 Tower emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sdg Apr 2 19:52:47 Tower emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sdb Apr 2 19:52:47 Tower emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sdf Apr 2 19:52:47 Tower emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sdc Apr 2 19:52:48 Tower emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sdl Apr 2 19:52:58 Tower emhttpd: read SMART /dev/sdk but i dont have autofan or any plugins as mentioned in this topic enabled. Also no telegraf. Any one has an idea? Kind Regards, Dion
  7. That would be zoneminder i guess, next time i will disable that also (although its my security camera's) and see how it goes.
  8. I had 2 containers active, 1 is zone minder and the other one is home assistant. Both where writing to the cache drive and not to the data drive.
  9. Hi, So i had a defunct drive in my data set, i ordered a new one and precleared it with the preclear plugin. This is a 3 TB disk and took about 17 hours to complete the preclear. I followed the steps here on how to replace a broken drive. The rebuild started with around 200 MB/s and around 50% it went down to around 50 MB/s and even 30 MB/s But i cant seem to figure out why, i dont have any errors on my parity disk. The parity disk i have is an 8 TB WDC WD80EZAZ. And all my data drives are TOSHIBA HDWD130. Can someone put me in the right direction on why this rebuild is taking ages? Is the parity drive to slow? But that would be strange because the first 50% is going at 200 MB/s. I have also added the diagnostics. Thanks. Kind regards, Dion tower-diagnostics-20201230-2121.zip
  10. I have it working now, i had one container still having the wrong mount. Thanks for your help!
  11. Attached are the diagnostics as requested. tower-diagnostics-20200326-1932.zip
  12. Problem for me was that the unraid version that had my driver version in there isnt available in the unraid nvidia plugin. So i couldnt download it, and i believe the versions for unraid nvidia start at 4xx i didnt saw anything with 3xx in the version.
  13. Hi All, I have mounted a SMB share from my synology to unraid with UD. This works perfectly but the name of the share under user shares is like this: This will result in errors in my log files and causing samba to keep restarting. Mar 26 10:35:18 Tower emhttpd: error: put_config_idx, 619: Invalid argument (22): fopen: /boot/config/shares/\\192.168.178.10\downloads.cfg Mar 26 10:35:18 Tower emhttpd: Starting services... Mar 26 10:35:18 Tower emhttpd: shcmd (63079): /etc/rc.d/rc.samba restart Mar 26 10:35:20 Tower root: Starting Samba: /usr/sbin/smbd -D Mar 26 10:35:20 Tower root: /usr/sbin/nmbd -D Mar 26 10:35:20 Tower root: /usr/sbin/wsdd Mar 26 10:35:20 Tower root: /usr/sbin/winbindd -D I tried to change the name of the user share to remove the \ from it but the name keeps changing back, any idea how i can fix this? Kind Regards, Dion
  14. I have the same as you, my graphic cards is too old, its not in the latest drivers of nvidia or any other drivers that are currently available through this plugin.
