Awesome I'm fairly new to Unraid and not sure how to do this so I'm not the right guy to test this but this is awesome.

@Cmc0619 thanks for the info I have already given up on this one. I do find this comment interesting though. bplein commented 4 hours ago I'd like to use these drives in an Unraid server but their software only looks for devices named under /dev/sd* or /dev/nvme*. Is there a way to change how these drives present? Maybe something "simple" as a udev rule file that could be created? Or a barring that switch that could be specificied on module load? This is best left to the Unraid folks... they are the ones making assumptions about what a device is named. I'd go as far as saying "lsblk correctly identifies /dev/fio* as block devices, why doesn't UNRAID" and let them sort it out. That's a bug!

I was able to get this resolved by changing network settings applying the new config and then changing them back to original settings and applying those.

I rebooted my server this morning and received a kernel panic vfs sync issue. So after reading the forums I decided to build a new USB stick and replace the config folder with the config on the usb key. The server boots up and of course says it is not licensed now. Anyway I'm not able to get to the UI now using the IP assigned to the server. I cannot ping the IP address. I tried to request a new key in the GUI from the console but it just hangs due to no connectivity. I checked networking and all looks normal. Any suggestions? I'm still learning unraid.

Like I said I'm still learning UnRaid but if I can be of help in anyway just let me know. This is good info for sure. It's a great OS I just know it would be better if I could use these for cache drives as I have a modular power supply since it is a Dell server and have no other good options for cache drives and that is why I purchased these not knowing it would be such a pain to get them working. A little frustrating having had these for months now and not being able to use them.

Yeah that is always possible.

Yeah I was not assuming they would respond to a post. This was a ticket I opened with there tech support. They never responded too it after about 4-5 months.

I'm far from a millennial . Honestly just go away if I pay for something I at least expect a response. Let me guess that is to much to ask for taking my hard earned money. Come on get real I'm new to Unraid and was not aware it was not naively supported. You know what maybe Limetech could of took the 30 seconds to respond to my ticket and I may of understood and would not have posted. As far as your assumptions I'm not even going to bother to lower myself to your level. Thank god Limetech has people like you policing the forums. How could they ever get by without advanced members like you. Oh wait by taking there money and not even bothering to acknowledge them. There is an idea you should try to do the same thing!

I expect them to respond to a customer that paid to use there software! Really if you have nothing positive to offer then stay out of it. Are you the Limetech police? Come on man no reason to try and be a jerk because I'm frustrated they did not even take the time to respond to me. That seems to be common with a lot of companies these days unfortunately.

Anyone have any luck? I emailed support months back and never got a response. I guess once they have your money no real interest in expanding the functionality other than to keep the mass market interested in Unraid.

So I have been trying to get this up and running the only way I can get it to allow GUI access in unraid is to bridge it. When I do that I run into the issue of not being able to access it add it to the home app. If I assign a static IP then I can access the GUI by manually typing the IP and port but it says the bridge service is not running. I have numerous other dockers assigned a static IP in this same subnet. Any assistance and guidance would be much appreciated.

I also got two of these for cache drives and would love to be able to use them, This is really my only choice to have a cache drive other than loosing storage for my array since all my drive bays are full of mechanical drives. I'm new to unraid so not much help but I just bought this for this purpose and was really disappointed when finding out they are not supported.

I'm fairly new to unraid and I have a dell server I run unraid on and I'm loving it so far. I purchased two Fusion-IO ioCache 600GB PCI-e SSD since I have all my drive ports filled with 4TB hard drives and use them all for storage. Also with this being a server the power supply is modular and does not allow for additional power options for the onboard sata ports. So I thought it made sense to use PCI cache drives. It appears unraid does not recognize these drives now though. How can I get these to work? Anyone have any suggestions? I find it hard to believe unraid will not support these devices. I appreciate any support anyone can provide.
