Have done as asked, card seems cool. Starting array took a few more minutes that normal and sdp which was unassigned is no longer there. Disks are still errored plex-diagnostics-20260504-1131.zip

Hi all, Woke up to my server listing 2 disks disabled. Mustve been found as part of the monthly parity check. Seems 4 drives have errors. Disk 1 seems to be in worse shape than disk 3. Am I right to keep the read check going, shutting down and checking all connections, then doing a disk dance for disk 3 then probably physically replacing disk 1? Yes, it turned out some of Sinusbots files were being detected as appdata, I moved them out and all is good.

Hi All, my data is located in a share named data. I need to fix permissions however when I go to new safe perms I get "data (Found as appdata location)" Im not storing any appdata here, I think unraid is getting confused because the name is data? Ive combed through the dockers and cant see any issues. I can run the command to fix the permissions myself, but id like the ability to use the GUI.

I guess that's the issue, and I guess why they put that warning on the site.

The transfer of data was 2 days ago and since then seemed to be working fine. As far as I can tell, it's only when I changed the transcode directory to the root of the media folder that there was a massive data loss. Id have assumed that Plex maybe decided that there was files that shouldn't be in there and deleted them all. But only TV and Movies were affected. Photos and Music was not.

Hi all, I'm afraid I've massively messed up my server. I have been in the process of consolidating my shares into 1 data share. This was all going well till Plex was having issues transcoding certain shows. I tried new safe perms, updating Nvidia drivers. Eventually I changed the transcode path to /data/media/ Suddenly my server started very very rapidly deleting my data All my TV and movies seem to be gone. I am unsure what exactly I have done. I have old offline backups so I don't think all is lost, and a few other bits of data and shares have been untouched. Hi guys, I keep an offline backup of my stuff. On unraid my music library will be in multiple shares Music1 , Music2 , etc. Each share will only be set to occupy 1 disk each. This is so I can backup each share to a single drive on the backup. These drives would be in a JBOD drive cage. I dont really like this way of doing things. How can I have just one share of Music spanning multiple drives and be able to back them up to multiple unassigned drives? Is there a bit of software? Ideally id like to be able to stick 1 of these music hard drives backups and it have msuic A-G, then another have G-P, etc.

Hi all, Had some issues with my server. Im in the middle of swapping a disk but I keep on getting the GUI locking up and it seems to be Kernel Panic.
