  1. I don't read release notes enough and just found out about the new "Unraid Share Mode" in the VM editor. I have the share mode setup properly I believe, mapped to one of the shares I want my VM to access. When starting the new VM and getting it all configured I don't see the mapped share in file explorer or in disk management. I figured it wouldn't be that easy but I'm not really sure how to get it to work and haven't found any definite guides so any advice is greatly appreciated!
  2. Like the title says, my virtual machines keep pausing after leaving them for around 2 minutes. They're not set to sleep or have the displays turn off. I have the VDisks on a 500gb samsung drive sitting as an unassigned drive. It is mounted and shows to only have 35.3gb of space used, even though the two VM's I have are each setup with a 120gb disk allocation. I say this cause reading other forums the issue seems to be with Unraid thinking the VDisk or cache drives are full however for me this does not seem to be the case so I'm at a loss. Attached screenshots of the samsung drive to show how I have it running.
  3. Bit of background to start, I have one Unraid server at my home and another at my office. I want to backup the home server to the office server automatically. I have a wireguard VPN setup on each server, not sure if that could be utilized to connect the servers for a backup. Not sure how to go about backing one up to the other and or what software I should use. I could use a Windows VM to run the backup however I'd like to avoid this if possible. i'm also not great with CLI so something with a basic GUI would be awesome, but not a requirement. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
  4. Dude, thank you so much you're awesome I was basically shitting bricks thinking I corrupted my system files or such you're a chad and a half
  5. Ram has been dialed back, turns out I actually had 2 bad sticks after running memtest. I've scrubbed the pool however Im still occasionally getting the error. Not a constant stream of it anymore though.
  6. My log is filled with this error and I have no idea what it is. I know sdk1 and sdj1 are my cache drives. Both are 500GB crucial drives, no smart errors and set up in the standard raid 1 pool thing unraid puts cache drives in. I also have my computer hard crash when playing steam games that are stored on my server. They're on the array saved on one disk, a WD Black. If I move the game to my local drive it works fine and doesn't crash my whole pc. Anyone got any ideas? I'm completely lost here nas-diagnostics-20210930-0104.zip
  7. Long story short, created a Windows 10 VM and passed through a GT 1030 with it and its audio device in its own IOMMU group. Then added the VBIOS with Space Invader One's VBIOS hack that removes the dumb Nvidia "VM detection" code. Got it to boot, manually installed drivers and got the all to common Error 43. USB is booting in UEFI mode as I can't seem to get my Z490 Plus motherboard to boot in Legacy CSM mode. I've included the XML file in a txt document if that helps. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! VM XML.txt
