  3. yes it looks like that on 6.8 however on 6.9 ther terminal gave me short 3 line response telling me Smart status is enabled
  4. Yes im am getting temps on 6.8. I have restored back to 6.8 now and unfortunately didnt note it down however it was a short 3 line response telling me my smart is enabled... however as i said not what i expected. This gui also showed this in disk settings: SMART support:Available - device has SMART capability. SMART support:Disabled
  5. SATA controller: Intel Corporation 7 Series/C210 Series Chipset Family 6-port SATA Controller [AHCI mode] (rev 04)
  6. Unfortunately im not at home at the moment. Im running openvpn though, is there any way of checking this on the unraid GUI?
  7. If it helps my four array hdd's are also plugged directly into the sata ports on the motherboard. I have no LSI expansion card etc installed on this machine.
  8. Sata SSD connected straight to the motherboard
  9. IN RC1 i couldnt see the hdd temps no matter what i tried... in RC2 i can see array temps if i spin down then spin up the drives. As far as the cache and flash go nothing i tried made the temps show. Could not get smart enabled on the cache.
  10. Tried RC1 and couldnt get any hdd temps.. Tried RC2, now getting hdd temps when spinning up/down the drives on array but can get no temp on either the cache or flash. Cannot get SMART enabled on cache either. restoring to 6.8 for now.
  11. I have the same problem! anyone figured out a way to fix this? I've tried smartctl '-A /dev/sdX' and i get a message back telling me smart status is enabled.. however when i go into the hdd settings it tells me this: SMART support:Available - device has SMART capability. SMART support:Disabled Very confused!
  12. Hi Guys First post here and i wish it could be more positive. Literally trawled these forums for days for help. I've been having extremly slow read and write speeds on my array since moving to unraid(Often below 1MBps). I've run a freenas server in the past but im completely lost as to what my problem is, Cant see what im missing. Im running a 2TB WD Red as parity as well as a identical drive and a 1TB WD black in the array, I also have an ocz SSD which i am using as cache. The server is hooked up directly to the router which supports 1000MB transfer speeds which a CAT6 cable. I've included my diagnostics in the post and below is an iperf test I've run over wifi. Can include a test done over ethernet but its honestly not much better. Literally any help would be appreciated!!
