  1. Didn't simplefeatures used to show the pre-clear progress of a drive? I'm not getting this with dynamix.
  2. This looks useful. Shouldn't be hard to make into a container... I'll have a go! I have no way to test it though.
  3. The rate of progress that's occurred in the last 8-9 months since I was here last has been nothing short of astonishing. Just goes to show the power of this community! I've discovered a whole host of really useful apps in the various template repo's posted here that I didn't even know existed, for this I think LT and the various container contributors should be highly commended. Then we move onto running X apps inside a container, in the browser. This just totally blows my freakin' mind! I could have really used this as part of my MSc dissertation project last year!!! Ah well. Below is a file manager, running in a browser copying files from my NAS to my server. Amazing! I just wanted to write this shortish post to say well done and congratulations to everyone involved! v6 will be a triumph when we consider where we were 18 months ago! Happier than ever to be back.
  4. Definitely is a bug by most software development definitions. Good!
  5. Hey ironic.... weren't you the one who started this push to get unRAID to support VMs and stuff?? I remember your long persistent dissertations on the subject. If I am correct, you are the spark that got this going.... I take a bow... Well, grumpy and I did a fair bit of head bashing yes... I'm very impressed at the progress made on all areas of the product. It's good to be back!
  6. Seriously, running X apps in Dockers in a browser. My mind is blown!!
  7. I added your repo 10 mins before posting my original question and forgive me I can't find the update button anywhere you have circled! beta16?
  8. You mentioned Dolphin in another thread, it's not showing up in my template list?
  9. i run one sonarr for me and another for my family to add the quality programming cruft they watch to Plex.
  10. Aha I see. And the fact that it's CoW means that the space isn't used until it's used. Right, cleared that one up I think. Thanks guys.
  11. Ok - it seems an odd decision but the technical reasons make sense(ish). I wish the size limit were optional as I really don't want to allocate several GB to a simple NGINX container. I just simply want all the Docker stuff to live on my cache drive (which is an SSD). I don't care (or want to care) about the size of each image.
  12. Next dumb Q... Docker 'images' is as unRAID has it, an odd concept to me. I need to specify a size limit? Why?
  13. Yes. Validation would have prevented this! I actually hadn't noted that the example text wasn't valid for at least 5 mins. All rather embarrassing.
  14. Actually my issue was that I hadn't made the directory on the cache drive I'd configured. I assumed it would for me, its now sorted.
  15. Oh I didn't type a size. That's not obvious BTW limetech!
  16. v6b15 - completely blank cache drives and data drives (d'oh). Enabled Docker but the tab doesn't come up in the webUI. Er....
  17. Oh good! Why the F%&& does a simple mount command do that? Jeeez!
  18. laaaaame. manually mounting the drives (e.g. mount /dev/sde1 /mnt/disk1) doesnt work either though with a bad fs type?
  19. Fired up unraid tonight hoping that my data drives (formatted to XFS under Ubuntu) would be picked up and I could just pickup where I left off. Error 'unmountable' is what I'm receiving. I know I could just reformat one drive at a time, but that's a pain.
  20. Thanks all. Specifically my devops role is modernising the release cycle for continuous integration at a financial services company in England. They say they want to change and its I who has the power to recommend tools to do it with, then try make it all work together! As for unraid. Took me so long because, well, I'm stubborn? I wanted my Ubuntu switch to work and as I said it does, mostly. Looks like I'll be needing to spin up an unraid box before long to take all these new GUIs for a spin. Ironically, I'm more comfy with the command line than ever now but a good GUI has its place. As v6 nears completion I'm looking forward to giving it a proper go. When I say a set it and forget it box, I really mean it. It must be able to docker and pool my storage, that's it. I'll then be able to free up a different machine as a home lab. Tres exciting.
