It looks like I fixed this by changing the Apache Group User and Group to 99/100 aswell instead of "user" and "nobody".

Hey, thanks for this docker - this resolved the php permission problems i was not able to fix with my own compiled docker. Only problem i have: Even though i have apache run user and group configured like mentioned, if folders are created within Filerun, they dont get an ower and i dont have smb write permissions until i change it manually. Any way to fix this? What am i doing wrong?

PHP permissions - Was mache ich falsch? FileRun Docker

Filerun Docker permissions
What I now all tried: Set Chmod 777 to all upper directories, checked if Volumes were rw, I can create a folder in the container shell with mkdir. Still it doesnt work to set a home folder. Always get the (createPath error: mkdir(): Permission denied) error. I also tried reverting to the 2023 version but that also didnt help. That one worked fine for a year before.

There is no Unraid Docker for it currently. so you have to compose it. So yeah, I asked in the FileRun forums but didn't get a reply yet

New Hardware for better efficiency?
Hey guys Im currently running: 3950x on Asrock x570 Taichi 16GB ECC Ram 10gbe sfp+ 3x 12tb hgst HDD 3x 1tb nvme My server is running 24/7 pulling about 105w at idle. Since my power costs are about 0.32€/kWh, running my server gets kinda expensive. So I was considering some changes. I do need a GPU for transcending / encoding purposes. Now I was thinking if it was maybe better to swap to an Intel based system to lower my idle to 20-30w and use the iGPU instead of getting an Intel Arc dGPU. Is there a reasonable way to lower my power draw to around 50w with my current build? Or is it not worth trying?

Filerun Docker permissions
I had to reinstall my Filerun Docker (Couldnt fix my old one with connection error). New Installation with 2024 Version worked, but somethings odd with the permissions. I followed the in the docs linked guide for the unraid installation and created Apache User etc. accordingly. “APACHE_RUN_USER” = nobody “APACHE_RUN_USER_ID” = 99 “APACHE_RUN_GROUP” = users “APACHE_RUN_GROUP_ID” = 100 Folder permissions are as follows: If i now use the /user-files/ path as the host home folder, i dont get any files displayed. I cant create under directories etc. since i get a (createPath error: mkdir(): Permission denied). With my old install i never had simelar Problems. Any Ideas how to fix this?

[Support] ich777 - Application Dockers
Hey, I wanted to setup a RustDesk server for personal use and connect to other clients outside my network. Since my Internet is cgnat, I use a VPS (usually with NPM) to route the traffic. What is the appropriate way to get Rustdesk to communicate with my server / the docker?
