  1. Ah ok I've got an awful lot that I've customised myself, might not be so easy for me to make the change ?
  2. Glad you got it sorted! I have to admit I might try doing the same myself - did you have much customised artwork out of interest? If so did it survive the change of path?
  3. Really you'll only have to add 1 drive to your Library mapping once, every time you add a new drive to your server. Assuming your movies are split across all your disks that is.
  4. You can add multiple disks to a single Movies library - see my screenshot. There's not really any downside to doing it that way, once it's setup you won't even know it's referencing disks rather than a user share.
  5. Nah no need to do that, just doing it for Plex will be fine ?
  6. I think Squids suggestion to pass /mnt/ and add individual drives to your plex library instead of the user share should do the trick - definitely worth trying. i presume your synology NAS had the data striped across all your drives (meaning it wouldn't have to locate the drive the specific movie is on). As I'm sure you know the trade off with unRAID is that if you loose 2 drives your data on the remaining drives is safe, whereas on a striped array you'd have lost everything. Hope that makes some sense!
  7. I do agree. For the record I'm very pro-privacy and my post earlier wasn't meant to be inflammatory - just curious which I think was the point of @jonathanm . If you've spotted a privacy shortfall that has otherwise been overlooked then every user of unRAID stands to benefit from its disclosure.
  8. I agree, I don't see anything that was rhetorical or unpleasant in the reply that johnathonm posted. Further to that I would add that he shouldn't stop posting - I feel this was a case of misunderstanding in text form. Easily done! With regards to the question at hand, re serial numbers I can see value to why they're included in diagnostics - in terms of pointing to a specific drive that has issues. I'm curious too why you'd prefer they were obfuscated in logs, not from a critical point of view - but purely because it's only through reasoned debate that these things can be improved. ?
  9. Im not familiar with macvlan but I've managed to give dockers unique IP addresses by using pipework 1.1.6 - I followed some posts on this forum (apologies I don't have a link to hand but should come up with a search)
  10. Thanks sparklyballs, I wasn't sure where to look for it! ?
  11. Just tried out the new skin and noticed some tips popped up for maximising your connection speed. https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/advanced/highspeed-downloading Does anyone know if sabyenc is included in this docker?
  12. Not being regular user I didn't realise these devices weren't quite cutting it! Are you able to get a significantly different experience from using DVB cards?
  13. Im based in Europe (UK) and there is a HDHomerun device capable of Freeview HD channels. I have to admit I'm not actually using it anymore as I'm addicted to unsupported protected channels on sky! ?
  14. There are no plans to implement this. I just simply answered (more redirected) bjp999's question. That's ok. I realised it wasn't down to you, just offering myself up to test it if anyone from ls.io was interested in persuing the idea
  15. It's a very interesting idea to me. If there was a willingness to try implementing this by Linuxserver.io I'd be happy to help test it ?
  16. Uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin did the trick, thanks gfjardim! ?
  17. Hi. First step is to remove and install this plugin again, to make sure it's in the latest version. The next step is choose which script you want to use to preclear; if you use mine, all you have to do is start the preclear. If you want to Joe L. script, you have to follow the steps on the OP, and then patch the script like described here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=13054.msg510567#msg510567 Thanks for the quick reply, I'll give this a go now. I was planning to use yours as I understand I should be faster - an important factor with a 6TB drive!
  18. Hi there Im trying to run preclear on unRAID 6.3.1 but when I open preclear from tools it seems to be stuck on Please wait... retrieving information! I've also tried running the script in a terminal from /boot/config/plugins/preclear.disk/preclear.sh and it fails saying sfdisk: invalid option -- 'R' For more details see sfdisk(. Sorry: Device /dev/sdp is busy.: 1 I've also tried clicking the icon on the main page under the unassigned device section, and the button doesn't do anything. I've also tried using a different browser (Chrome instead of Safari) Any ideas, as I'm very keen to start a preclear on a new disk, especially as its 6TB and I'm expecting it will take much longer than I'm used to. Thanks in advance for any help!!
  19. I'm getting the same message in my logs. Is this Plex or container related? From my quick glance at the logs looks like the plex version number seems to be missing - instead it's been replaced with %20 in the file name. Strange, I don’t see this behavior in my logs. 21. Oh cool. I'm transcoding to RAM already, how are you writing Plex logs to RAM? Use the docker page and map the container log path to a host path within /tmp (e.g. /tmp/logs/plex/) You'll need a userscript to create and chown the log directory within the tmp path so plex can write to it. Do you not need to chown /tmp so that plex can write transcoded files too?
  22. You need the container you want to exec into also. Like below. docker exec -it sabnzbd bash Thanks for the reply, I'm getting to a bash prompt now but if I try and use ping or traceroute I get command not found. Is there a way I can install them? I tried to use apt-get install but doesn't seem to like that either! ?
  23. docker exec bash I used this command to get to a command line for this container. I was hoping to run a traceroute, however it just returns command not found. Is there a way I can get traceroute to install inside this container?
  24. You're a star, thanks Squid! All working perfectly now! Apologies for doing something so dippy. Maybe it would be handy to make the KEY field required, so others can't make the same mistake - worth posting this elsewhere? http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=52990.0 Thanks Squid, much appreciated ?
