linuxserver.io Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 (edited) Application Name: SABnzbd Application Site: http://sabnzbd.org/ Docker Hub: https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/sabnzbd/ Github: https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-sabnzbd Tags You can choose, by using a tag, to use the unstable branch. Stable is the default and requires no tag (at times both branches may have the same version, but the stable/latest branch should never contain an alpha/beta/rc version) Add the tag, if required, to the linuxserver/sabnzbd line of the run/create command in the following format:- linuxserver/sabnzbd:unstable Please post any questions/issues relating to this docker you have in this thread. If you are not using Unraid (and you should be!) then please do not post here, instead head to linuxserver.io to see how to get support. Edited September 14, 2018 by linuxserver.io 1 1 Quote
ijuarez Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 What is the difference in this docker compare to the others? Quote
sparklyballs Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 What is the difference in this docker compare to the others? self updating as other linuxserver containers are, and a newly compiled par2 that's more recent than 5 years old. Quote
ijuarez Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Well then i guess I better make a decision to move from binhex or stay Quote
kaiguy Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I was hoping you guys would release this! Is this version of par2 multicore, by chance? Quote
kaiguy Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Also, I know this is a longshot, but I don't suppose there is any way (via the environmental variables or extra parameters, perhaps) to be able to pull an alpha build of sab, by chance? (I would have edited my above post to add this question, but I guess this sub doesn't let me edit my posts). Thanks!! Quote

Thanks!! from what i can gather from a quick reading of the readme on their github repository, 0.8.x releases (alpha at this time) are not compatible with 0.7.x queues. just from that alone, let alone rebasing the container to use git rather than the sab ppa, means it doesn't look a viable option at this time. kaiguy Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 No worries. Thank you both for your replies. I'm just stoked you rolled out a version with multicore par2! I can patiently wait for version 8 to go to release status (but man, that new skin looks real pretty) Quote
MyKroFt Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 The SAB forums also state its a one way upgrade - no coming back down to a older version.... Myk Quote
CHBMB Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 So with the advent of multicore par support, does that being SABnzbd up to NZBget standards with regard to pars? Quote
MyKroFt Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Since 0.8 has now gone into beta, is it possible to get a beta 0.8 docker so we can make a copy of config folder and play with? Thanks Myk Quote

aptalca Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Just a heads up, in a new installation of this container with the new beta, the incomplete and complete download folders default to respective folders in the config folder, not what is selected in the container settings. I noticed that the default sabnzbd settings point to "downloads" rather than "/downloads", which is directed to the folder in the main installation folder, not the mapped folder Quote

David Bott Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Hey... Ok, the new installed I just did was 0.8.0Beta1 [1ba588f]. Where do you get it? Is there a container that updates it or something? Unlike Sonarr, there is no update you can click and it is done. Please kindly advise. Just want to rule out the possibility that the update is timing out or something... I've just pulled SABnzbd to check and my completely fresh copy is on beta3 and I've never installed it before so I'm wondering if it's something local to you. Can you post your logs? Quote
David Bott Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 HI YA... Thanks for remembering we live full time in a motor coach. We started after I sold AVSForum. (http://www.outsideourbubble.com/about-us) Right now our link is fine. 3 to 8Mbps down. Over the weekend it seems that the tower was overloaded and I could not get more than .5 down. As far as logs, which one? I ask for if I click on the one in the Docker area to the far right, it window opens but it is empty. So I would need to try to find the ones you would like. Here is the lines from the system log when I clicked on restart.
