  5. Same here :-( and I cannot pinpoint the fault. From Unraid (read) ->>> Synology I get 40MB/sec from Synology >>>> Unraid (write) I get 2MB/sec. The Unraid and Synology box is connected via a 5 x 1G port Netgear switch Duppie
  6. Hi All, Did someone fine a solution to this? This is really frustrating. ;-( My Unraid server is about 96% full with 580GB free space and it takes forever to copy a 300MB file to it. I have also changed the rules of the shares to follow "High-Water" allocation and with no levels. Any help to fix this will be appreciated and how t stop such a process. Version is 5.06 Thanks Duppie

  10. Hi All, I cant get it to work with version 5.05. What are the steps to install and what is additionally needed for 5.05? Thanks Duppie
  11. Thanks to all explaining the split levels. Sorry for this, I did not realize it is this complicated and did not want to deviate from the original posts. Anyway, at least I did learn something new about Unraid today. Duppie
  12. Many Thanks jphipps, that seems to have been the issue. After I set the split level to 999 Disk2 was used. Duppie
  13. My split level is 0 In share settings I have all included and none excluded. The share is called "data" In the "data" share setting included and excluded disks are empty. Duppie
  14. Hi All, Was testing 6.0-beta5a out this week and stumbled upon an issue which I think is not right. Herewith the scenario: - Used the free version for tests. Disk1 and Disk2 shares was enabled and set at the default "High-Water". Disk1 became full with 3G left. Disk2 had 45G left since I deleted some stuff to make space available. I then copied a 5G file to the Data share and it always fail with "(28) No space left on device" from the log. Share is setup to include all disk and exclude none, then. - I changed the setting to "Most-Free" for the Data share applied it and when copying the 5G file over it failed as above again, then. - I rebooted the server to make sure the setting is applied, but it failed again. It always start at disk1 to be filled and never copies to disk2 which has the "most-free" space 45G. Is this a bug or setting mismatch? Duppie
  15. Hi nicinabox I like trolley quite a lot . Thanks for this, but for 64bit it only looks at 14.0 as the latest. Should it not look at 14.1 slackware? Thanks Duppie
  16. FTP does not seem to work in this beta? I get the following error from filezilla client: Response: 500 OOPS: could not bind listening IPv4 socket I have activated some users in the WebGui. In syslog it just tells me: Tower vsftpd[16439]: connect from 135.183.224.164 (135.183.224.164) and in inetd.conf vsftpd are enabled. It worked fine in 5.0.4 Could you also tell me why I get these errors: server.c: Packet too short or invalid while reading response record. (Maybe a UTF-8 problem?)
