Stopping array got stuck... I dont know how to proceed and I am afraid I'll lose everything. Dont have knowledge for this kind of problems. Anyone?

@itimpi thank you for your help. And thank you for pointing me to the correct chapter in the documentation. I have successfully Acknowledged the CRC count. Rebuilding a drive onto itself manuals say that at step 1 you have to stop the array. I clicked on a button to stop it. Now it's been stopping it for 20 minutes and I think this should not take that long or?

Hello, it has happened to me also. "Device is disabled..." I can also see that disk 2 has error at SMART 1 more thing and i am not sure if it's connected to that problem. Docker utilization is 95%. Thank you @Mainfrezzer! I disabled VM manager with the help of other PC, put flash drive back in the main machine and turned on. Server is back online! I've also started VM manager then and it seems that the VM which should be created is gone. I am really happy that server is back on

I understand that I made a mistake when I didnt include an ISO file... But I wasn't aware that this could potentialy cause whole system to freeze/corrupt. I didnt edit any (other) files... Just created a VM in a way, which is described in my 1st post. Will plug the USB in another PC and check config files and will come back for more help if needed. Thanks for your suggestion!

Anyone? I was thinking if it's possible to remove that VM in a way to put Unraid flash drive in another PC and remove it somehow.

Hi guys, I would need your help. I wanted to create a Win11 VM with passthrough GPU for testing purposes ( wanted to build Unraid + gaming VM later ). Since I yet do not have a graphics card I thought i'd pass Intel iGPU, so I've created a VM, choose to use CPU's GPU, BUT I FORGOT TO ADD AN ISO image of Win11. I've clicked create. Button became disabled with text creating... I've waited for like 30 minutes, nothing... Panicked. Refreshed main Unraid page... didnt work. I've accessed Unraid server via mobile app (ControllR) and i've said to my self let's restart it. I've restarted it via app... Nothing, server was unavaliable for like 15 minutes. Then I've connected monitor to the physical server and noticed that server goes into BIOS. Windows boot manager is set as default boot. This is all I get from it. Server is unavaliable via IP it seems it doesnt boot? to be honest I dont even know what i did wrong. Was it wrong that I selected iGPU to pass? Probably creating a VM without ISO is a mistake? why is this even allowed? Edit: this is what boot sequence looks like: Shouldn't here be Unraid's flash drive?

Hi, this was the result of Parity check. Success? At this point i'd like to say thanks to Unraid community! I am really happy i've got helped by @JorgeB, @trurl and @Squid. You guided my thru the whole process

After reboot everything seems to work like before ! Parrity check now?

I've started Array. VMs work, Dockers work. Parity check now? I am still in safe mode. How can I get rid of that?

Should i remove it then? Should I now start array? I mean after I re-insert license key.

Flashed fresh unraid 6.9.2 and copied old config folder over fresh one. Thisnis what it shows on boot

Ok. 1 more question. Since I created backup manually and manuals say choose backup .zip file. Should I just zip everything i downloaded from that flash drive?

can I check somewhere in config which version i had? Because i dont rememember...

Like this. I copied then again from flash drive to PC folder everything ,except config - without any problems and then config file without ssl file - without any problems. It seems that it only has a problem transfering these files/folders from SSL folder.

I've got flash drive back. Plugged it PC and copied everything. it failed at folder SSL. After I checked it, some wierd names are in it. I can't copy any of it. What to do? The rest copied fine it seems. If this USB now still works ( I dont know about this SSL ), can I put this usb flash drive back in the Unraid and use it until it dies or ?

It seems that they have auccessfully ressurected my usb flash drive. It is disassembled, but can plug it in my pc/server. Should I insert it back in the server (after i copy everything from it on my pc) and create a backup via unraids gui? Or only plug it in my pc and transfer everything whats on flash drive and zip it as backup?

Thanks for the info. I will probably give tomorrow flash driver to a local computer service. They rescue dead flash drives. I hope they resurrect it. If they fail, i will have to start from the begining.

Had lots of docker containers does it help if I know which disk was assisgned as parity?

Hello, I would need some help, since i am really not experienced user. Today i've noticed some weird things at Docker tab . I also realized that at the top right corner was saying missing key (license). I said ok, I'll restart Unraid. Waited for 15 minutes, nothing... I plugged HDMI cable in the pc and it showed BIOS with no USB flash drive option to choose. Unplugged flash drive from the server and plugged in main PC - nothing. it seems that flash drive died? What now? I really dont want to lose my data, dockers and VMs Thanks for your help! BR. Žiga
