ah ok, i thought its a stable mountpoint and you have to manually export it, that sounds really cool. so i will try this now

ok, so a zpool exports automatically when the server is shutdown and imports when started? so basically if you shutdown the server u could just unplugg those two drives, connect them for example to a pc and start the zpool there witg the import?

when both drives are unplugged it says: no pools available

how can i export a zpool if there is no zpool recognized. when i unplugg this two drives zpool status doesnt show any pools avalaible. but i will try that too. just tried to restart the server but that didnt work eather, same error.

i tried to export the zpool, but i get this error: cannot unmount '/mnt/user/ZFS': unmount failed

so just those 2 commands? and afterwards i can delete the zfs share i made and search a solution to export the new mountpoint via smb. so in my case i would write: zpool import -R /mnt/disks/zfs zfs (so the mount point is in an extra folder)

how do i change the mount point? sorry i dont know any commands, i just did it like spaceinvaderone, except the mount point

i did it like this before but then i had no idea how to use the zfs pool. because i want my zfs pool to show up on windows explorer, as the other unraid shares. so i came up with the idea to create a share for zfs and then mount the pool in this share, so everthing is visible on windows.

Servus Leute, Ich habe zurzeit ein sehr sehr komisches Problem, und komme nicht dahinter was es hier auf sich haben könnte. Mein Array umfasst 5 HDDs und eine Parity Disk, worauf meine gesamten Medien gespeichert sind. (Die Festplatten sind geshuckte 8TB WD Elements/MyBooks) Zusätzlich dazu habe 2 ältere gebrauchte 3TB WD Reds, die ich in jeweils eines der WD Elementsgehäuse gepackt habe (Im Server ist leider kein Platz mehr) und via USB 3.0 am Server angesteckt habe. Darauf läuft ein ZFS Dateisystem, wobei die Platten gespiegelt sind. Bis gestern hat das alles super funktioniert, das ZFS System ist unter /mnt/user/zfs in einem eigenen Share gemountet. Szenario 1: Gehen wir zuerst davon aus, der Server ist heruntergefahren und ich starte diesen in dieser Konfiguration, dann bekomme ich folgendes Problem: Der Server startet ganz normal und unter dem Main Tab sieht auch alles ganz normal aus, wechsle ich jedoch auf den Shares Tab, sind alle meine Shares verschwunden, bis auf den ZFS Share. Es werden nur die einzelnen Platten unter Disk Shares angezeigt. Im Docker Tab kommt die Fehlermeldung: Docker Service failed to start, im VMS Tab die Fehlermeldung: Libvirt Service failed to start. Das ist ja nur logisch da der Domain Share und der Appdata Share nicht gefunden werden. Auf die Dateien im ZFS Share kann ich aber im Windows Explorer ganz normal zugreifen, auf die anderen Shares logischerweise nicht. Auch mit dem Befehl zpool status wird mir alles angezeigt. Wenn ich nach diesem Start den Array stoppen möchte, tut sich gar nichts, es kommt immer die Fehlermeldung: Array Stopping•Retry unmounting user share(s)... Wenn ich aber nun die beiden 3TB Platten in den Gehäusen von den USB Ports abstecke, lässt sich der Array stoppen. Szenario 2: Ich stecke beide 3TB Platten vor dem starten des Servers aus. In diesem Fall startet der Server wieder ganz normal, und unter dem Main Tab werden die beiden 3TB Platten als fehlend angezeigt. Alle Shares bis auf den ZFS Share sind verfügbar und funktionieren, auch der Docker Service und die VMS funktionieren ohne Probleme. Wenn ich jedoch nun den Befehl zpool status abrufe, kommt die Fehlermeldung: no pools available. Auch der ZFS Share wird mir als leer angezeigt und befindet sich auf einmal nicht mehr auf den beiden 3TB Platten sondern am Array. Wenn ich nun beide 3TB Platten wieder anstecke, ändert sich nichts. Also lasse ich sie ausgesteckt, da ich so den Array stoppen kann. Wenn der Array gestoppt ist und ich beide Platten wieder einstecke und dann den Array starte, bleibt die Konfiguration ebenfalls unverändert, heißt alles funktioniert bis auf den ZFS Pool. Ich bin gerade wieder mal am Verzweifeln und würde mir gerne wieder ewiges Daten hin und her schaufeln ersparen wollen. Was mir noch einfällt wäre eine weitere externe Festplatte anzuschließen, mit ZFS den Server starten, alles von den beiden 3TB Platten auf die externe zu schaufeln, den ZFS Pool zu löschen und danach den Server neu zu starten ohne die beiden 3TB Platten angesteckt zu haben. Und dann den ZFS Pool neu einrichten und alles wieder von der Externen auf die 3TB Platten schaufeln. Ich hoffe ihr wisst was hier das Problem ist und könnt mir damit helfen, das blödeste das passieren könnte ist das alle Daten weg sind. Danke euch!!!

Ich habs jetzt mit einem eigenen Pool geregelt. Also den Array gestoppt, einen neuen Pool Namens vms hinzugefügt, und dann dort die 1TB SSD ausgewählt. Danach einfach das Array wieder gestartet, dann scheint bei den UA Devices auf das eine Platte fehlt an die sich Unraid erinnern kann, diese einfach entfernen. Und dann beim installieren der VMs einfach den vms Pool als Speicherort auswählen. Und bei den Shares den domains share auf den vms Pool packen Hab nicht gewusst das es so einfach sein kann, das mit den Pools ist ja neu. Und der Cache, also bei mir die 500GB nvme SSD, ist ganz normal als cache aktiv.

Das mit dem /dev/disk.. hat mir ein Freund geschrieben und das hat für mich funktioniert daher habe ich das nicht hinterfragt. Zum Thema Cache: Ja ich habe einen Cache, eine 500GB große NVMe SSD. Diese möchte ich aber nicht für meine VMs nutzen, sondern nur als Cache. Daher habe ich eine extra SSD, die nur für die VMs gedacht ist.

Hallo Leute, Im Englischen Forum habe ich gelesen, dass es möglich ist mehrere VMs auf einer SSD zu installieren, jedoch finde ich dazu keine genau Anleitung, und so wie ich es probiert habe klappt es nicht. Ich habe eine 1TB SSD, die nicht gemountet ist sondern nur unter meinen unassigned Devices aufscheint. Eine VM darauf zu installieren ist kein Problem, umgesetzt habe ich das mittels /dev/disk/by-id/ata-NAMEderSSD. Im Laufe des Installationsvorganges von Windows 10, habe ich eine 250GB große Partition erstellt, auf der ich Windows installiert habe. Den restlichen Speicherplatz habe ich nicht zugewiesen. Wenn ich aber nun eine weitere VM auf den selben Pfad mittels /dev/disk... hinzufügen möchte, zum Beispiel eine Linux Ubuntu VM und diese dann starte, komme ich immer auf die Windows 10 VM. Wie kann ich das beheben und umsetzen? ich möchte gerne meine 1TB SSD auf 4 gleich große Partitionen aufteilen, damit ich auf dieser SSD 4 verschiedene VMs installieren kann. Ich bitte um eine genaue Anleitung, kenne mich nicht sehr gut aus mit Computern usw. Danke für eure Hilfe!! Bleibts Gsund!! Eric

How did you do that? I tried to install Windows 10 and Linux ubuntu on the same SSD on different partitions with /dev/disk/by-id/ata-NameOfSSD, but that didnt work. My plan now is to split my 1TB SSD in 4 partitions with the same sice, every partition for another vm, but I dont know how i am able to do this. Hopefully u can help me, Thanks!!

Was genau bewirkt die Zeile in der Config Datei? Hat das irgendeinen Einfluss auf die Sicherheit wenn ich die auskommentiere?

Ok, mal schaun ob das in Zukunft funktioniert. Hab jetzt nochmals die Logfiles gecheckt und da viel mir folgende Zeile ins Auge: nginx: [emerg] "proxy_redirect" directive is duplicate in /config/nginx/proxy-confs/onlyoffice.subdomain.conf:19 Daraufhin hab ich mal die onlyoffice.subdomain.conf auf .sample umbenannt um zu schauen ob das der Grund ist warum die drei Dinge nicht funktionieren und das wars. Sobald ich die onlyoffice config Datei wieder aktivere zickt Swag herum. Daher die neue Frage: Wie kann ich den Fehler beheben? Soll ich einfach die Zeile 19 aus der config Datei löschen? Hallo Leute, Ich habe den Swag Container installiert und mit einem reverse Proxy HTTPS Zertifikate für meine Nextcloud, Onlyoffice und Bitwarden erstellt, so wie spaceinvaderone in seinen Youtube Videos. Nun habe ich vor einigen Tagen eine Email bekommen, dass die Zertifikate mittels Certbot erneurt werden müssen, da sie nur 3 Monate gültig sind. Gestern war dann der Tag an dem diese Ausgelaufen sind und jetzt funktioniert logischerweise nichts von den 3 Dingen mehr. Daher meine Frage: wie kann ich diesen certbot aktivieren oder erneut ausführen und somit meine Zertifikate erneuern? Ich bräuchte dazu leider eine genaue Erklärung, mit der Commandozeile usw kenne ich mich leider nicht besonders aus ;) Danke schon im vorraus!! :)

ENGLISH BELOW Hallo Leute, Ich habe ein Problem mit meinem jDownloader Docker von ich777. Der jDownloader wird durch einen Open VPN Client Docker geroutet, dass hat auch jetzt einige Wochen sehr gut funktioniert. Es kam immer wieder mal vor, dass der jDownloader Docker, aus mir unerklärlichen Gründen gestoppt wurde und sich nicht mehr selbst gestartet hat, obwohl Autostart eingestellt ist. Seit Gestern kann ich den Docker zwar starten, wenn ich aber die WebGui aufrufe kommt die Fehlermeldung: Failed to connect to server. Auch auf die Kommandozeile des Dockers kann ich nicht zugreifen, hier kommt folgende Fehlermeldung: Error response from daemon: Container 0221976d9873d716c8949496268bfee0adc76634ff3c9f2ed6bfc05e2e759ace is restarting, wait until the container is running. Ich möchte den jDownloader Docker nicht neu installieren, da ich viele Downloadlinks in der Liste habe die ich aber nirgends gespeichert habe. I do have a problem with my jDownloader Docker from ich777. I set up an Open VPN client on my Unraid server, and routet the jdownloader trough the VPN docker. It all worked now for a few weeks, but I had the problem that jDownloader was stopping every once in a while and I had to manually start the docker, even though it was on autostart. Since yesterday I am able to start the jDownloader docker, but once I want to visit it trough the WebGui, it says failed to connect to server.
