Hello. I checked the cables and they were okay.

It has around 1K errors to Disk 1. Should I start it again and let let it continue? It started to write to it, and now it's not writing anything. Only reading from the other drives.

So After about 10min it stopped and now the red X is next to Disk 1 again. I attached the diagnostics. importimage-diagnostics-20240829-0713.zip

Hello. I'm getting a red X on Disk 1. Says drive is being emulated. I went ahead and did the "check filesystem" Didn't seem to help. If you could please help with any information, that would be great. I have attached the Diagnostics file. Thank you importimage-diagnostics-20240828-2224.zip

Sorry wrong drive. Looks like everything is still the same. Just lost data and will need to recover it. Thank you for your help

So now it's going back to how it was before. When I click on the drive to see the files I can see the folders but the folders are empty or can't access them on Drive 1, Drive shows as being almost full but files are missing. Kinda weird

I see. Ok I will go through the files. Most of the files lost were movies and tv shows. So that can be replaced. If this happens again were a drive would fail and I have an X next to it, I would do the the filesystem check first and not replace the drive or data rebuild?

I do see a lost+found folder in Disk 1

Should I run a parity check? Not sure if that would do anything. Thank you

I'm trying to follow the steps but the drive is mounted and no more X shows up next to to the drive. Still cannot access any files importimage-diagnostics-20240310-0356.zip

also sorry what command would I use? I looked and the guide and can't seem to find any command that ends with -n. Just want to make sure i'm running the correct command. Thank you

Disk 1 is the drive that I replaced with a new one and is currently being rebuilt. Going through the data rebuild.

A couple days I had one of my drives fail. I have one drive for parity. I had a hotspare and started doing the data rebuild. But when I went to use plex, it's saying file can't be accessed. I tried over 20 different movies and shows and something. I remember last time this happened, I was able to access the files. Is it a setting that I need to change or I'm not able to access files when one drive files? Thank you

I set everything up by following spaceinvaders, But for some reason once its done transcoding, the files just stay in the temp file and do not move. Just wondering if anyone had the same issue or had a solution. Thank you

I might just have to start fresh. Since there is no way to tell if any of them are or if any are corrupt.

For some reason it won’t boot from the usb flash drive. Going to format it and try again. I will try that command and see what it shows. Thank you

oldest copy I have is from March of last year. So almost a year

I just restored from a previous flash drive backup. So I should delete my old flash. Download a new copy and then copy over just the config folder from my backup?
