  1. I put ftp server off on both my unraid servers, but always when i check the setting it's always enabled. Makes me very nervous, as if someone enables it without my knowledge. Is there a plugin or docker that needs that setting and enables it?
  2. More info https://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/f101/nas-auf-pentium-g4400-basis-1093362.html
  3. http://www.enermax.de/power-supplies/triathlor-bulk/ This is the PSU used in the test. Have you checked the C-states in the bios?
  4. This might be a good low power option : https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=50550.0
  5. While surfing on an obscure german lowpower-computing forum i found what i believe might be a great unraid board. I'm talking about that Fujitsu board. 9,7watt idle power usage, seems like amazing compared to the other ones. I looked it up and it seems to be an industrial skylake board designed to be low power friendly. 5x Sata ports (could be better but still) 1x M2 slot for cache drive 1x 16x Pci-express 1x 4x Pci-express 2x 1x Pci-express 1x internal USB port (great!) Have i mentioned only 9,7Watt idle usage with i5-6600k?! Price : 120€ PDF datasheet: https://sp.ts.fujitsu.com/dmsp/Publications/public/DS-D3402-B.pdf Motherboard layout picture:
  6. Awesome plugin! I wonder if it would be possible to make a plugin that keeps older versions of edited files in another share, kinda like your recycle bin plugin but for edited files as well?
  7. http://forum.redump.org/topic/14472/ps3netsrv-modified-for-encrypted-3k3yredump-isos/ Would it be possible to compile this modified ps3netsrv for Docker? That would be awesome, saving me a ton of diskspace on duplicate encrypted/decrypted Games.
  8. Any idea what idle power consumption is from your new build? how many drives do u have?
  9. The only thing i don't like is that directories don't keep their original creation date on the new destination, maybe that can be fixed on future releases? I also wish i could select multiple source drives, i might be wrong but i remember that being possible on very early builds of the docker/plugin? Great tool!
  10. I have all metadata in the media folders for xbmc. I noticed disks are waking up because it's loading the posters in my poster view. Is there a way to avoid using the xbmc media metadata and let emby scrape his own set on the dedicated movie cache drive?
  11. Hi, I set up emby on my unraid using a docker. Everything works fine except that when i start browsing my media every disk is spinned up. Is there a way to avoid that?
  12. I want to try this. How do i install?
  13. I ordered two of them 5 days ago from this seller, just got them today. They are brand new with all included cd's, brackets. I installed one of them in my test server and unraid loaded without errors. I haven't been able to check if it's working correctly as i still have to receive my breakout cables. Do they work out of the box with unraid or should i set or configure something on the cards?
  14. I solved it by disabling user shares in the settings. And then enabling them back again.
  15. I'm on 5.0.6 Today i tried making a share called '-=[Foto.Archive.D]=-' which doesn't seem to be allowed because i got a lot of errors. Since then i am unable to edit my shares using the shares tab. I always get this error : "Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/webGui/ShareList.php on line 37" I noticed there was a cfg file added called '-=[Foto.Archive.D' in my shares folder on my flash drive. So i deleted it thinking it would fix my error. I restarted the server. But the error still shows when i click the 'Shares' tab. On my unraid GUI there is also an error on the top of my browser window: Warning: Error parsing /var/local/emhttp/sec.ini on line 127 in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/webGui/template.php on line 101 Warning: Error parsing /var/local/emhttp/shares.ini on line 2 in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/webGui/template.php on line 105 Warning: Error parsing /var/local/emhttp/sec_nfs.ini on line 98 in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/webGui/template.php on line 106 Warning: Error parsing /var/local/emhttp/sec_afp.ini on line 146 in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/webGui/template.php on line 107 Warning: array_key_exists(): The second argument should be either an array or an object in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/webGui/template.php(142) : eval()'d code on line 1 Please help PS: I have backup from few weeks old when i added some new disks, but i'm hesitand to use it because of the new hdd configs
  16. By restarting my missing 2TB disk showed up and i did get the option to set new disk positions which i did. I'm now doing a parity check without corrections just to make sure i can rollback to 4.7 if i have to. So i guess my problem got solved.
  17. As I have a 3TB parity drive ordered yesterday i forced myself to upgrade my stable 4.7 tot 5.0rc8 today without succes. It seems 2 disks are named differently and unrecognised (even though they are the correct disks) 1 of my 2TB disks isn't found. Is there a way to force the disks being used are the right ones? i've included the log unraidlog.txt
  18. hmmm, i thought that drive had issues with unraid? better use the search function on the forum
  19. Are there issues with the newest drives on this old controller? I want to upgrade my old unraid and i had 2 of these old controllers spare.
  20. Is that disk on a different controller than the rest? I had the same problem with 4.7 to 5 ages ago (was 4 disks too -- had to rebuild with clean disks and move the data back over). All 4 disks were on a controller that went through a massive driver rewrite so the labels were different. Yes, this disk is on a 2port sata card together with the cache drive, i've rebuild the disk now so it's fixed
  21. I've upgraded to 5.0RC2 from 4.7 but when i check my disks one disk hasnt correctly recognised. I guess the only option is to rebuilt the disk from parity?
  22. After running 2 unraid servers for nearly two years now, i think i might have my first disk failure. The disk was showing some read errors earlier this week, and it's now making some clicking noises. What should i do? Can anyone take a look at my smartctl i've included in this post? smart.txt
  23. Anandtech today reviewed the new AMD brazos platform. It might be perfectly suitable for a new unraid box. http://www.anandtech.com/show/4134/the-brazos-review-amds-e350-supplants-ion-for-miniitx
