  1. Finally got it to work... I had to do a fresh install of TruNas to fix it
  2. I run 2 VMs (pfSense andTrueNas). On both they lock up if I set CPU MODE to host passthrough (took a while to figure this out). I have to set on Emulated (QEMU64). Whenever I go into the template it switches back Host passthrough (had to redo template if this happened because if I changed it back after it attempted to start it would throw an error). I don't know if this causes a performance hit or what.... I had the system on another MB with a 3900X and did not have this problem. current system: amd5600g 32G ram Gigabyte B550 Auros pro AC Broadcom BCM57810 dual 10G sfp+ Broadcom / LSI SAS2008 PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS-2 HD controller Dual Intel 82576 Gigabit nic Any suggestions?
  3. Jan 1 23:41:11 Tower unassigned.devices: NFS mount failed: 'command timed out'. now it is timing out
  4. Disconnected all shares from unraid, removed all shares in truenas rebooted both, made new shares in truenas NSF SMB, gave smb shares a different name than nsf shares..... smb's mount nsf don't.
  5. SQUID sent me here for this problem. I had to hard reset my unraid server because truenas went down before Unraid tried to shutdown (OK I forgot to unmount them before rebooting) and it hung the process. Now I cannot mount any nsf shares on my truenas VM. Unraid sees them, tries to mount but will not mount. tower-diagnostics-20211231-0958.zip
  6. Thank you kindly. I'll pop over there . Have a happy new year.
  7. Thank you for this, especially on new years eve day. Now my next question is how I repair this..... I was forced to do a hard reset on the box because truenas had stopped and drives were still mounted, so I am gathering there is a "ghost" mount point being used I have rebooted normally but it still has these remnants.
  8. tower-diagnostics-20211231-0958.zip here is the diagnostics file. forgot to upload it before.
  9. thanks for the reply squid. I did get unraid to mount windows shares on both truenas and PC after a complete shutdown, now just nfs shares having issues on truenas so I am going to look at it today. I post results tomorrow.
  10. Just got pfSense configured for my home to include a seperate VPN network. I have two nics on machine, 10G to "open" network and 1g to VPN network. A couple of docker containers connect thru VPN and unraid on open. I thought I did something in pfSense but I am able to access all shares on my PC (unraid and truenas) I can search for shares in unraid and see them on both my windows PC and Truenas VM (all on Open network). when I try mount any shares external to unraid they try and don't. I can mount an internal unassigned drive. any help appreciated.
