Not sure anyone is still monitoring this, but I’ve been trying to install a neat plugin that modifies the built in Execute plugin. It looks like it installs but it keeps defaulting to the built in plugin in the webgui. The thin client has new settings but they don’t take. Is there a way to modify/remove the built in plugins in the docker? Below is the link to plugin I can’t seem to get working in unraid docker.

I got this to work on 6.3.5. you have to use SATA for the drives. Also you need two interfaces, I trunk to my unraid so I use sub interfaces. Also, seabios and qcow2
Can you post your xml? Did you use virtual box or the built in VM in unRAID?

Is there any plugin or docker that is similar to the iOS app FING or other network analyzer tool? Basically identifies hosts on your network via dns/MAC address/IP?
thanks,

I got 4 licenses of standard for free for writing a blog entry for them. I will probably pay for an additional 2 or 4 when we move. The nice thing is whatever you buy the license is infinite. You only pay more if you want updates past a year. Plus if you are doing it on unraid it is a no brainer. I had way too many issues on the VM vs the native linux docker.

Seriously I agree. I've been able to get the trial going and am learning how to use it now. Thanks coppit!

About to take the plunge and run a trial (not a fan of my vm setup). I have an external USB disk I am using for storage. Can I still use the external USB disk here like i can with the VMs? I did this so I didnt have to have internal disks always spun up.

Everything working ok but for some reason I can't pull updates. I get "layers from manifest don't match image configuration" after it downloads and extracts. I'm on 6.2

I am more than willing to host files if needed

As a followup my SAS drives spin down now with firmware upgrade. So will be going back to 20.00.07.00.

Solved this on my own.... For future reference Seagate Constellation es.2 drives updated to firmware 005 or above will spin down on the m1015 controllers

Found this online, is there a way to tweak the driver in unRAID? This is for windows:
"It is possible to use hdd spindown. First you uninstall the current LSI9211 driver in windows. Reboot the machine and enable 'disable driver signature' (pressing f8 during boot).
Then change the LSI-sas2.inf driver. Open the inf file in notepad and under [shutdown_addreg] add;
HKR, "StorPort", "EnableIdlePowerManagement", 0x00010001, 0x01
Install the driver in windows, reboot the machine and then spindown should work.
note; i have my lsi 9211/ibm1015 in IT mode. "

I just installed this plugin and when I go to webui all i see is an icon that says layout with no other settings. I am on 6.1.9

Also the SATA drives do spin down but the SAS drives do not. Segate ST33000650SS drives

syslog for troubleshooting

So same symptoms in p19. I added SATA drives and they spin down fine, so it has to do with the sas drives. Submitted a bug hopefully Tom will know what to do if no one else does. I'd say new version is probably safe. Everything else worked fine.

I have the m1015 with latest p20.00.07.00 in IT mode and everything works except the spin down. Before I realized this I got my parity and one data drive on there Haven't heard back from lime wire support yet. Should I flash backwards? Or wait for help? What version seems the most stable in unraid?

My IBM 1015 are not spinning down drives and I don't see smart data. I originally was going to use these for freenas and they are flashed in latest p20 firmware IT mode. Is this issue solved and how do I fix?

Is there anyway i can force my local version to run? It says local version 4.1.17 in red. or will i need to go back to 6.1.8 of unraid until the site is up?
-
It is not my site.
If indeed it is down forever I will need to look for an alternative hosting site.
Is there anything I can do with my local dns to point to an internal resource? Or can I make a site that holds it? I am on 6.1.9 now and can't get virtual box running, my local version is for older kernel. Or is there a way I can download and convert a rpm or Deb from virtual box myself?
-
Well poop, I had it working great with the virtualbox plugin that appears to have been discontinued... scrambling to find replacement.

Hi all
I would like install the KVM version of the Cisco Wireless Lan Controller (vWLC). I used as much information out of the following guide:
But it looks like the install script breaks because of the following issue:
umount: /usr/local: not mounted
Any idea?
I'm not sure if I have selected the right options for the VM.
Thanks

Or if anyone offers a docker container, will be even better
Did you ever get this working i want to do the same thing

Hello,
I am proud to present:
VirtualBox plugin for unRAID v5 and v6
P.S.
This is my first attempt at a plugin.
I love your plugin but am now dead in the water because your site is down. Would it be possible to change the links so it will work when your site is down? I can host something, I just need to know what needs to be pointed and where to get it working again. Or maybe make an option to manually point to the location of the files?

Is vbox.a1aina.com down for anyone else? I upgraded unraid and rebooted and now the plugin isnt working and my virtualboxes are all dead :'(

Any luck? I am not able to get this working with 6.4 so far and I wonder if the new SSL capabilities and native nginx is fighting with it.
