my OpenVPN_Client and or Transmission docker apps keep stopping without any messages. Is there any way to automatically restart them if the VPN connection is lost?

Update I got the link working unRAID > Mac mini and wow is it fast! I also discovered that some of my movies were >50gb. This apparently happened following an incident when my usb boot drive crashed and I had to restore unRAID and didn't set up my radarr profiles and downloaded a lot of 4K files and many having subtitles and foreign languages and subtitles in foreign languages. I set the filter to strip subtitles and remove all foreign languages for movies > 40gb and it reduced file sizes by 80%!! Saving > 1tb of disk space! rescanning to work on movies of all sizes. And tv shows next. Now if I can get hw encoding on Mac mini to convert to h265.

I have unmanic on my unRAID server w/o GPU transcoding capability so I put an unmanic remote on my Mac mini that has a i5. Problem is that I do not see any activity on the Mac. I have the unRAID link set to send and the Mac link set to receive but nothing is happening on the Mac. I set the Mac to CPU transcoding and still nothing. Only CPU transcoding on the unRAID and that is going to take too long. I am also trying to strip subtitles and non-English audio but it apparently is not working as I checked a few movies and these are still intact. Is it possible to send ALL work to the Mac and not so ANY work on the unRAID?

I discovered that the i3 GPU doesn't support H265 transcoding! CPU only is going to take months!

I upgraded my unRAID server from a Celeron cpu to the i3-4150 with integrated HD-4400 gpu. I cannot get Plex to use the gpu for transcoding. I also cannot find the drivers anywhere. I also want to do some transcoding of my movies with Tdarr with extra parameters "--device=/dev/dri" for intel gpu transcoding but again not seeing the gpu transcoding. dev/dri folder contents by-path/ card0 renderD128 ./by-path contents pci-0000:00:02.0-card@ pci-0000:00:02.0-render@ Would appreciate any help.

I have 3 drives for Movies and I used Unbalance plugin to balance drives. Unfortunately this left a small "file" on the original drive that I discovered when I used the shares view. It showed many of the movies on 2 disks. I manually deleted the "file" on the second disk to remove the ghost bits. This is a tedious one at a time process. I noticed in the share view that I could select the disk and I thought it offered a shortcut to removing the extraneous information on the 2nd disk. But when I selected "delete" it deleted the entire drive! I immediately stopped the array. Now, how do i recover the disk?

I was using a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse before upgrading to 6.8.12. I share it with a separate Win 10 PC. I swap it to unRAID server when I boot so I can use the GUI. It normally is used only for the Windows PC. . After upgrading, it no longer functioned. I brought a Dell KM7120W from work and it doesn't work either. I installed the bluez plugin and attempted to use BT but only got the mouse connected after MUCH trial and error. Can anyone help me 1) get the Dell usb dongle to work, or 2) get the BT interface to work.

I can connect remotely and view the unraid web ui but when i attempt to view the docker web ui (e.g. radarr), it hangs up.

I want to use couch potato and sick chill downloaders with transmission using separate watch folders and separate download folders /movies and /tv. I would also like to automate handbrake to convert movies to mp4 and remove subtitles, etc. I had this working a few years ago but my server broke and I recently added larger drives and am attempting to put it back in service but things are not working right. Any guidance is appreciated.

Instead of VPN'ing the whole server, I'd recommend using binhex's VPN enabled download clients, there are several variants available. I installed the Deluge and SABnzbd VPN enabled docker applications and they work well. Thanks.

I have a sweet little unRAID server for downloading movies and TV shows using Plex Media Server with PlexConnect to view on any of my 3 TV's via Apple TV boxes. A few months ago, TWC started sending me ugly emails about my downloading so I installed the OpenVPN client and have not heard from them since (Great Product, easy setup!!). However, I cannot view my media library on my Apple TV's like before but I can still use a Mac/PC. So my question is, What do I bypass? And How do I bypass? so that PlexConnect works?
