Thanks. My appdata folder sits inside that user folder. In fact it seems all my shares sit in there too. Are there system folders/files that need to remain in the user folder? Would I then create a new folder and move everything else to it? e.g. adguard_home, ApacheGuacamole, etc?

Hi. I attempted to update to 6.11 RC4 the other day and I believe my flash drive failed part way though. Ultimately I restored to new key and left it as is. I don't know what version I was on before this, but I have a feeling I ended up going from 6.9 to where I am now at 6.10.3. Once this was done a lot of things broke. Mainly docker and VM stuff as far as I can tell. From what I've read I need to rename the /mnt/user folder to something else. I've stopped the VM and Docker services, restarted and attempted to rename but it says its in use. My understanding is that I need to either rename the existing 'user' folder, or create a new one and move everything to it. Which of these options will work best? Can this folder simply be renamed along with VM and Docker paths updated and have it work? If so, what would be causing the folder to still be locked? Attempt the same as above but reboot into safe mode. (Never done this. No idea if that would work) Create a new folder and move everything from 'user' to the new folder. ?? Thanks. Made that change and tried the mover again. Unfortunately it keeps crashing seeing as that drive is on the way out. I tried downloading the docker.img manually but it fails. Is it possible for me to add in the 500GB SSD I was going to replace it with and use it as cache2? I'm not sure how that works. Does it strip the data across both, or would cache1 try and duplicate its data over to cache2? Thanks

Hey everyone. My existing cache drive I've been using for probably six years or more is on its way out. I'm trying to replace it with an SSD. I've followed THESE instructions up until the part when you're supposed to initiate the mover. The mover ran for a while and stopped. From what I read the cache drive should now be empty, but its not. I'm wondering if I've misread something. Here are some screenshots of how I've set it. SHARES, CACHE DRIVE, CONTENTS OF CACHE after the mover ran. Looking through the other disks I don't see appdata or docker.img anywhere. I believe those are the most important folders I need. (Please correct me if I'm wrong) Have I done this correctly, or should those files remain on the cache drive? If so, how does it copy to the new cache if its not on the array? Lastly, the existing cache drive is using riserfs. Can I set that to XFS and use that for the new one, or should I just leave it as is? Thanks for the help.

Hey. I ran the "Fix Common Problems" plugin for the first time today and it informed me of several repos being depreciated, this being one of them. I noticed THIS link early in the thread but the link is dead. Is this posted anywhere with a different URL? I'd like to switch over to this repo, but I would really prefer not to have to start it over from scratch. I've been using it for years and it would take forever. Is there a way to switch over without losing everything? Thanks

Sure thing. I was wondering about using OpenVPN in two different ways. First being to install a docker or plugin that I could configure to use with NordVPN. With this example I would like to route all traffic through the VPN. The other option would be to use OpenVPN only with NZBget, and everything else ignores the VPN. Ideally this would be something that once configured I can turn on or off without much trouble. Does this help? I can try and provide more information if required. Thanks P.S. I only mention OpenVPN because its the only client I've seen mentioned around the forums. If there is another way I am open to it.

Hello. I'm looking for the simplest way to setup unRAID to run through a VPN. (NordVPN specifically if that matters.) Has anyone done this and can point me in the right direction? Thanks

Just thought I'd shoot an update to let anyone interested know that I finally found out the issue thanks to a user over on reddit. I found a python package (python-2.6.6-i486-1.txz) and after telneting to the unRaid box I used installpkg to install it. An easier way is to just take the python-2.6.6-i486-1.txz and place it on the flash drive you boot from in a folder named extra. Once you reboot it will install it. From there the key was to then go to VideoSort in NZBGet and change the MoviesFormat section to read %t (%y)/%t This will create a folder named Movie (2011) and rename the files to be Movie (2011).mkv, etc. Be sure to check the Extension Scripts settings as well to make sure you have the script order that you want. Restart NZBGet and hopefully you're good to go.

I'm having quite the time getting Videosort to work with Nzbget for movies. I use Sonarr for TV and it sorts and renames fine. When I download a movie with Nzbget I can get it to copy the movie to the movies folder, but it doesn't rename anything. I read that you need Python installed, but I'm not sure if I do. Is it included in the nzbget docker? If not, how do I install this? My docker paths are as follows. Container: Host path: /config /mnt/cache/appdata/nzbget/ /data /mnt/cache/appdata/nzbget/downloads/ /tv /mnt/user/TV Shows/ /movies /mnt/user/Movies/ Nzbget Paths: MainDir /data DestDir ${MainDir}/dst InterDir ${MainDir}/inter Categories: Name Movies DestDir /movies PostScript videosort/VideoSort.py VideoSort: MoviesDir /movies Extension Scripts: I haven't changed anything in here. Well, I ended up getting my gui working. I manually edited the network.cfg file in the config folder on the flash drive, rebooted and it's been working since. While I can't help with the gui issue, (I just posted a much less informative description of my issue so I'll definitely keep an eye here for answers) I think I have an idea what happened to your xbox drive. You probably used the 250GB security descriptor on the 2TB by mistake as you stated. Unless you backed up the original you would have to search the net for someone with the same model as you and use that one to get your space back on the 2TB. When I did my xbox I had a 160GB drive, but could only find a 120GB descriptor, so that was what I ended up with. Sorry for going off topic. I can PM if this breaks any rules.

Hello. I'll keep this quick. I have two unRAID boxes both with 8GB RAM one quad, one core2, both intels. (One is a dell, the other is custom) The custom one shows THIS for the RAM. I've got 8 installed, but I'm not sure why it says (max 2GB). It seems to run perfectly with a number of dockers running. The Dell has 8GB as well and shows THIS. It's max 8GB. Any ideas? As you can see with the dell there are no other stats. This has me stumped. I can access the shares and flash, but that's it. As soon as I boot and try the GUI is locks up almost immediately. What's odd is I had this at work setting it up over the course of a few days and never had an issue at all. Even worked overnight while I copied everything to the shares, then she quit. I know the disk only is about 50% full. From reading I've heard it would be the NIC? I've got an Intel and 3COM I can try, but I can't unmount the disk via telnet, reboot, shutdown, nothing. I have to pull the plug which starts a parity check on boot. Any thoughts on this would be great. Thanks.
