Thanks Joe. That did the trick. Oddly it says I am connected at 1GB which is odd since I can't seem to get past 100MB while copying to the machine.

Hey All, How do I determine what my NIC on my NAS machine is connected to my router at speed wise? It should be 1 GB but each computer seems to max out at 100MB even though the windows Machines say they are connected to my router at 1 GB. Thanks!

So far I have upgraded to 4.7, upgraded to 5 (latest RC) and have completed the test that the NAS is working well. I will attempt the 3TB drive swap tonight One thing I am noting though is that the disk shares are now showing up...how do I hide disk shares in 5?

Is it safe to upgrade to 5.0?

So I bought my first 3TB drive to start upgrading some of my 2TB drives. I understand that my Parity drive needs to be my first drive upgraded so I installed it and assigned it to the parity slot in the menu but unRAID is not recognizing it on the main screen. My assumption is because I am running version 4.6. The old adage of "if it aint broke don't fix it" is what I am going by and my system has worked perfectly. Does my version support 3TB drives? If not what do I have to upgrade to to make it work? My NAS is a 17TB system with thousands of files and I can't risk losing any of it. What should I do?

So it turns out it was another Router. I have 5 and when I got to the 5th and switched it out everything worked fine again...Thanks for all the people that helped here sorry for sounding crazy!

Ok at least you ruled out the OS Have you ever had it run at faster speeds?

I am having a similar issues in this thread http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=13448.15. I have noticed that it is only my Windows Machines and PBO that are having the slow speeds. Have you tried yours with a OSX or Linux?

OK so I have discovered this is a Windows issue only. I can use my Mac to transfer the files and they transfer at 48MB/Sec but ALL THREE of my windows machines AND my BPO transfer at only 1MB/sec Please help!!!!

That didn't do anything sadly. I did try writing as well and it is also @ 1MB/sec This array used to run at 20-30MB/Sec for Writing and 45-55MB/Sec for reading. I really need help please.

Wow...I have no idea what happened...I rebooted unRaid and all the shares are back...phew...however it still has the crappy speed No I didn't edit the go file because it only had two lines...

OK I am freaking out now. I go to the "Shares" tab and ALL of my shares are missing. I tried to add one back and when I click "Add Share" nothing happens...no error and it doesn't create anything... Did all my data just fry? I looked in the "disk 1" share and all my data seems to be there but I can't find the shares...wth is happening...

Thanks opentoe but there but there is no way 800KB/Sec is normal or acceptable. Transferring 85GB will take days. This is a new oddity for this array as it used to copy from the array at 45+MB/Sec

I am having a problem reading from my Array. It is going EXTREMELY slow. In Windows some TV Shows transfer at 800KB/Sec and on my PBO the shows pause every 25 seconds or so for about 5 seconds and then continues. Any ideas? SyslLog attached. syslog-2011-06-12.txt

Disregard this entire post...it is now working!

So after some testing I set "Local master" to "yes" and now the PBO can see it the unRaid server...and when I select it all the User Shares show up but when I try to select a User Share I get prompted for a username/pass and when I type in the Root credentials I get a Logon Failed. Anyone seen this before?

Hey All, Been using unRaid for a while now but I am having some troubles with the share being seen by some of my hardware. I am running 2 Patriot Box Office (PBO) and the don't see the shares. Anyone have an idea of how to fix this? Also I can't seem to get my PS3 to see my shares either. Thanks!
