Can anyone explain how to go about setting this up in UR? I have 'pulled' the github code in a zip file but for the life of me can't figure this out. I also found a Wiki about creating a qemu container file for W2kSvr but nothing about the Unraid steps. Do I simply move the file into the isos share and create from there? The only instructions on here miss out the exact steps to achieve this - I need to learn how to do this but can't find any step-by-step tutorial/ guide. Thanks

I've just got a Thecus N12000pro and was going to have it run as a media server for my video library but alas, it has been abandonned by Thecus and has no apps available for it so it is just a bog standard NAS. Thecus have said they are not interested in providing any archive MOD files. Has anyone tried to Unraid this machine? It would be great to have Unraid on it as it has 12 drive bays so the storage capacity can be huge. I do have another MB I could swap in just in case the existing is too restricted to Thecus and I can then use the case/ backplane/ SAS etc Any advice appreciated

I've been trying to set this up manually but am still not getting anywhere. I've copied the contents of the working directory to my domains share. I then have the primary vdisk set to manual/ scsi and typed in the name. Each time on updating the config, it replaces the 'WINDOWS NT.VMDK' file name with vdisk1.img. The vdisk type is set to raw and not qcow2. I presume this is the way to do it? No doubt I'm missing something very simple - any help appreciated otherwise, its nested VM's for me......

No, Haven't tried this as I was unaware this was/ could be an option. I'll try it soonest and report back. Everything else I've tried gets no further than not starting the setup after the initial bootstrap. Error code points to a driver module but I've not tracked down the culprit. This must be a possibility if I can get it fully working in Vmware. My next option was going to be running a Windows/ Linux host with Vmware running inside it for the NT system - all as a VM in Unraid - think this may be overkill.

Does anyone have pointers for how to install an NT4 server VM? I've got a working VMWare setup I want to use but QEMU-IMG won't convert the vmdk. Should I base this off an existing Windows Server template and if so, which one and what is needed regarding the drivers? I'm stumped with this one as nobody seems to have NT4 Server running under Unraid. I've played around with IDE/SCSI for the install but keep getting BSOD during the initial setup phase. Any help appreciated!

Has anyone got Windows NT4 Server running as a VM? If so, what steps did you take to get it to work? I'm running an old CRM server under VMWare so already have a working image and know how to convert it to RAW but think the only driver really needed will be the display and network to connect into it.

Stumped with the 'easy' part. Following the WG setup doc upto step 10 but haven't a clue how to install the WG Client. If I search in apps, only the WG Easy shows up. If I click the link in the doc, it takes me to a download page but I haven't a clue what to download to get it onto the unraid server nor how to do this. I don't know why apps doesn't show the client anywhere. Any help with this would be great as I've got all the config and keys generated and ready to go.
