  1. I am using the docker for Microsoft SQL Server and I can connect to it locally. But I have a domain now and I would like to attach it to my domain. I've setup the DNS for it, and I'm using NGINX proxy with Cloudflared tunnel. I've got Nextcloud and my Bitwarden working just fine with this setup but for some reason I keep getting "Bad Gateway" when trying to setup my SQL Server. Everything is setup the same way my Nextcloud and Bitwarden are so I'm not sure what I'm missing. Is there a config file or something that needs to be setup?
  2. Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help. I'm having a heck of a time getting connected to Nextcloud via the internet and my domain. I've followed SpaceInvader Ones updated tutorial on how to setup NextCloud to the letter and everything was going great. I also followed his tutorials on setting up my own domain, setting up cloudflare and duckdns. Everything looked good as I was setting it up. But I'm stuck on the port forward portion of part 1 of SpaceInvader One's tutorial (roughly the 13 minute mark). I've opened ports starting with 443-1443 as he described But that didn't seem to work. It just says "Site can't be reached". So I though maybe there was a permission I needed to set. Which I did, even tried setting up all ports open but still can't get connected. I then began messing around with some of the advanced settings and found something strange. Which was If I disable NAT it then looks like its gonna connect but only for a second cause then I lose all internet connectivity. Here is my list of containers I'm not sure what I'm missing. I'm very new to all this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  3. Just giving this question a bump. Also adding the logs from the SQL Server container in hopes that might help. I've also noticed that on my SSMS side if I attempt to browse the local or network servers nothing shows up. I've attempted to to install SQL Server following the instructions from https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/linux/quickstart-install-connect-docker?view=sql-server-ver15&pivots=cs1-bash but still same error as above. I'm still very new to having a server so there could be things I'm missing. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
  4. Hi All, Newbie here. I've installed the docker "MY-SQL-Server" and it installed just fine, no issues. But when I go to do the initial login I get issues of it not being seen. Current Settings for the docker: When I then go into SMSS and enter in the server name I get an error (See below). I've tried to browse to my network but it doesn't see it. I'm not sure what I'm missing. I am new to running a server so it's very possible I'm missing a bunch of things, or maybe did something wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Error msg
  5. Yep that did it. Feel a bit silly, I should have tried that first. Thank you for your help!!!
  6. I apologize. I've attached my diagnostics. I don't have any VM's or containers setup yet. The only thing I've done so far is just get the array built, setup a few shares and users. Next was to try to get Plex installed and was following a youtube tutorial on getting the nvidia driver installed and got this issue. executor-server-diagnostics-20220930-0735.zip
  7. Hi all, I'm very new to unraid and servers in general. I have a good understanding of software and hardware but I'm still learning so please go easy on me. I have an old GTX980ti I put in my server in hopes of being able to use it with plex and transcoding. In stalled the Nvidia driver from apps and it said it installed correctly but what I see is the following: It doesn't look like the driver is picking up the installed GPU or displaying the driver version. I stopped the docker process and restarted as I've seen suggested but that doesn't seem to have done the trick. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  8. That worked! I'm up and running thank you so much for all your help and patience!
  9. So I followed your command in the terminal and got the following But then nothing happened. I tried to do another format through the array but no luck I attempted to run the SMART short quick self test (The longer one is grayed out) but I click the button and it seems like nothing happens. When I open the error log for the under the same test tab I see this You mentioned me sending you the diagnostics. So I did the format and then ran the diagnostics and have attached them. I hope this is what you are looking for but let me know if you need anything else. Also I really appreciate your help! executor-server-diagnostics-20220929-1127.zip
  10. Okay really sorry for these newbie questions... 1. Can I do this while the array is still building? 2. If I do the command in the terminal this command knows I want it to run for the Cache drive or is there something more I have to do to define it? (Sorry I know almost nothing about linux right now, plan to start watching some videos soon)
  11. I managed to get it working. What I did was I went through the bios item by item. I found 1 more hidden virtualization (beyond SVM) so I enabled that. I disabled the onboard graphics. and I set all the sata ports to hotports. I was then able to boot into Unraid. The problem I'm having now is that it says my 250 gig nvme cache is unmountable and says it's unsupported or no file system. I tried to format it but keeps coming back with the same thing. I'm gonna wait for the array to build and then was thinking about running the bios erase program on it to see if that works. But any help or suggestions on getting my cache drive to work would be much appreciated!
  12. Hi all, I'm attempting to run Unraid for the first time and my server keeps getting stuck on bootup. It stops on the line "amdgpu: topology add node" My server is an AMD 5600G with 32 gigs of ram, 24TB's HDD and 1 260 gig nvme. I also added an old Nvidia MSI 980 ti for video encoding. I previously installed Proxmox but am not a fan and after all the video's I've seen of Unraid I plan to purchase a key but can't get it boot so I can setup an account and get that far. My technical experience is pretty high but my server knowledge is low. My linux even lower. I know I haven't given much to go on so please let me know what info you need. I'd really like to get on my server as my OS. -D
