  1. Sorry to necro, but UFW added to unraid would be sweet!
  2. Thanks, but I don't think it's a lancache problem as much as my set up either with my home networking or my unraid docker setups. I imagine they won't help with the latter (unraid docker setups), so which thread should I post to for support in assessing if I set up my docker apps on unraid correctly, please?
  3. Help with Lancache 4 weeks up time and three machines on the router forcing DNSFilter to use the lancache-dns server. Plenty of games being downloaded from Steam on multiple on-LAN game machines, but no storage. I don't think lancache is working. I'm not even sure where to start. Can someone please help me diagnose why my setup isn't working for doing Steam caching, please?
  4. Applied an update today to the docker and now can't connect to the instance. Anyone else having issues after the update?
  5. I guess I'm confused why there are two core.confs when logging into the docker console. This is on a fresh install sh-5.1# find . -name "core.conf" ./home/nobody/deluge/core.conf ./config/core.conf sh-5.1#
  6. Looks like my mistake was placing auth files into the consoles home directory for the root user. I don't know why there is deluge related files in ~ for root, but the actual auth file location to modify is in \ and the directory is \config. I tried making it in ./home/nobody/deluge and ./home/nobody/.config/deluge and that seems to be where I went wrong. Thank you for the help regardless!
  7. I went back into the console. killedall deluged. Commented out the line for #localclient Restarted the container in Unraid Same problem. Any other ideas?
  8. Thanks. I went about it that way instead instead of trying to get symlinks to work across host and docker, and it was MUCH easier. I appreciate you, happy new year.
  9. I'm trying to connect via a Windows thin client to my Unraid 6.11.5's docker container for binhex-delugevpn. Not sure why, but I keep getting "Username does not exist", even though it the thin client can reach the the docker instance from the Windows box. I confirmed that the daemon is allowing remote sessions, and I created an auth file in ~/.config/deluge . I even tried to chmod 755 the auth file, and when that didn't work as root, I switched the user:group to nobody:users, and that still didn't work. How can I fix this please?
  10. I have a lot of movies on external exfat formated USB drives. I was able to use the Unassiged Devices Plus plug in to mount these drives. When I SSH into the unraid host, I can see their contents in /mnt/disks/[NAME_OF_DRIVE] . I am running Plex Media Server official app (which I set up the docker settings to have its data drive be: /mnt/user/PlexMedia/ , which is a setup for high-water share of all the disks in my Array Devices. When I logged into unraid SSH, I used the SSH plugin by docgyver to su into my non-root account, which I set the UID and GUID in the Plex docker settings to. Using that account, I created a link from /mnt/disks/[NAME_OF_DRIVE] to /mnt/user/PlexMedia. I tried this direct and relative. Both times, when I went to Plex to add the content from those folders (which are symlinks to the files on the external USB, Plex shows the symbolic link as greyed out. When I connect to the Plex console to check things out, I see: 4 lrwxrwxrwx 1 plex users 22 Jan 7 00:04 MOVIES_EXT -> ../../disks/MOVIES_EXT However, that relative path doesn't work because the parent directory is root for the docker container. I tried to run it as privileged but that didn't solve the problem. How can I have a symlink in the data folder on the Unraid Host that can be resolved by Plex in its docker so that my movie files can be added? Thank you if you choose to help!
