  1. This week the Fix Common Problem plugin gave me a warning about "Macvlan and Bridging found," but I have not had any issues. Do I need to worry about this? Should I change it, or wait until when/if I have a problem? I don't know why I am just now getting this warning. I haven't changed anything that I know of.
  2. Is there any reason NOT to run my main cache pool in Raid 5? I see the option in Unbalance to convert it to raid 5, which would give me more usable space (3x 1tb NVME drives.) It says to "see help," but I don't see anything that really says it's a bad or good idea. I'd appreciate any help/input!
  3. I can't get any results to display. Ok, I just ran the "Benchmark" again, and one drive showed results, but none of the other ones did. Any ideas?
  4. I just picked up a KTN-STL3. Got a nice deal on one with come caddies, and I am needing a way to connect 8 hard drives, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I know several people on here have these, and was wanting to get some idea of what to expect? I know about the formatting to 512b thing, and I've got an external HBA. What kind of performance should I expect? Can it be used with something like Plex? Are there better, reasonably priced options out there? Thanks!
  5. That fixed it! <interface type='bridge'> <mac address='xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx'/> <source bridge='br0'/> <model type='virtio-net'/> </interface> Sorry, I should have caught that! I did have a MAC in there on a previous attempt. Did a second copy/paste to make sure I didn't mess something up, and forgot to put in the MAC! Thank you for your time and help!!!
  6. Thanks! that's what I was trying, and I keep getting the following error:
  7. Where do I insert that into the XML? Just add it to the end? I tried to add it and got this error: VM creation error (domain_definition):126: Unescaped '<' not allowed in attributes values <source bridge='br0'/> ------^
  8. Here you go! There is no section for the MAC or any networking, despite the fact I have set them each time when I did my installs. This has happened every time I have re-created this VM.
  9. Do you mean the XML? 10. Unraid newbie, and setting up my first VM. Everything went smooth until I realized there is no ethernet apdater. No unknown devices in Device Manager. There are no mentions of networking in the Win 10 VM setting either. I have deleted and recreated the VM four times, and still having the same issues. Any ideas? Thanks!
  11. I just purchased Unraid, and am setting up my build. I already have an LSI 9200-16E HBA. Can I use it with my internal drives? Like, can I loop the cable back into the case to my drive, or is that a bad idea? Thanks in advance!
