So I got curious on the outputs that the sg_ses tool could see and started going through them... I've put the output for --page=es and --page=cf in a txt if it's of any use to you! No worries then, I really love the plugin though, I was excited to get some stats from my diskshelf! Next step we need someone to implement the iDRAC Service Module as a plugin!

Is it possible that I was mistaken in the connection of the device? I understood that i didn't need to connect both data ports as the second was for daisy chaining for more disk shelves. Was I wrong? I mean, it works...

I've had a crack at this on my set up, even though mine's a EMC KTN-STL3. I hear what you’re saying, but that’s money I don’t have. I found a tutorial from SpaceInvader on setting up Volumeio on a VM. This fits most of my use case, but I’d really rather avoid Volumeio, as they do weird things like block Bluetooth access for unpaid users. I’ll use it if nothing else shows up, but it seems weird to me that there’s no application for this.

Not really my use case sorry. I get that it’s easy, but I want the speakers with the server.

So I have the case where my server and my gym both live in my garage. My wife wants to listen to music while she works out. Fair enough. But it doesn't really make sense to me to build a speaker driving bit of kit, when the server is literally right there! Surely I could just plug some speakers in and my wife could remote play on her phone? Is there any docker app that is designed for playing content on device? Extra points if it has AirPlay/ChromeCast/MiraCast receiving capabilities.

It would be huge to have key functions of the OpenSeaChest application embedded into the gui, but also being available in the CLI Being able to update the firmware of the drive without having to boot into a different system would be huge.

Seeing as their profile has their last logon time as October 21, 2020, I don't think they'll be doing that. I think it'd be awesome if you forked it with your own Docker image though, as I'd be keen on getting this running properly.

So I've resolved the issue: I left the IT mode card installed and controlling the HDDs, then installed the PERC6i into the integrated slot with no HDD. I disabled all the functionality of the PERC card in it's BIOS, and booted again. Magically, the IPMI sensors are back, and the scripts work properly again. WTF Dell. WTF.

I've recently upgraded the PERC6i card in my Dell R710 to a H300 card flashed to IT mode. The array has been recreated successfully, all docker containers are running with no data loss etc. The only things that're broken completely inexplicably, is my fan-temp control script, and the IPMI sensor readings. When it's run, it logs this: If I manually run the command to change fan speed, that particular command works fine and adjusts fan speed as expected.
