Okay i found out how to do it. To enforce aspc_idle you have to add the kernel boot argument "intel_idle.max_cstate=0". This resulted for me in a 2w drop over intel_idle.

Ich hatte es mit dem ASROCK B860i mit dem neusten 3.10 Bios probiert. Da das den neuen Sockel hat war der outcome von vornherein eher ungewiss gewesen.

I did go down the rabbit of trying to set the "Low Power S0 Idle Capability". I never got the Linux version von SCELNX to work, But i was able to boot into windwos to got SCEWIN to work an could export the NVRAM but there was no "Low Power S0 Idle Capability" listed. So i was unable to set that setting.

Hi, how did you accually managed to switch to acpi_idle from intel_idle ? I dont know if the question is kind of silly, but i did not find out how tto do it.

So ich glaube ich bin mit meiner Reise am Ende. Was hab ich alles probiert. SCELNX_64 von der Unraid Console aus ausführen -> f - Error: Unable to make kernel driver. Ubuntu Live USB 24 LTS , 25.04, 25.10 gebooted und SCELNX_64 ausgeführt -> f - Error: Unable to make kernel driver. Windows to go auf USB Festplatte installiert und gebooted SCEWIN_64 in Powershell ausgeführt -> Das auslesen hat geklappt aber es wurden nur 3 "setup questions" exportiert "Low Power S0 IDLE Capability" war nicht dabei. Beim weiter bohren bin ich im SCEHUB Github noch auf folgendes gestoßen. In wie weit das relevant ist kann ich nur mutmaßen würde aber erklären warum "Low Power S0 IDLE Capability" nicht exportiert wurde. ASRock's BIOS has 2 Advanced forms so you need to do a Menu swap in order to gain access to the setting. Auch hatte ich das Problem, dass beim Versuch zurück zuschreiben. Ich den Fehler bekam, dass kein Admin Passwort gesetzt sei. Im BIOS waren aber "Superviser Password" und "User Password" gesetzt. Eventuell ein Nebeneffekt von dem "Password protection of Runtime Variables" Setting. Aber auch das kann ich nur Mutmaßen. So Idled die Kiste halt jetzt bei 30 Watt und kommt nicht über C3 raus. Ich bin da auch eher verdutzt. Ich quasi genau das selben Schritte gemacht wie du. Raw Download auf unraid kopiert webconsole auf gemacht chmod +x versucht den befehl auszuführen

Im Grunde ist es aber auch egal welchen der Befehle ich eingebe. Die führen bei mir blöderweise Alle zu dem selben Ergebnis.

@alturismo Welche Unraid Version nutzt du denn? Hab gerade auf Version 7.1.4 versucht das Ganze durchzuführen.
