Random shutdowns every couple days.
Will do once I get to my parents in August, until then is there anything else I could do? Or would be a lost of time?

Random shutdowns every couple days.
Hello everyone, Out of ideas so reaching out for some help... For the past few months (not sure how many exactly but more than 4 and less than 7) I have been having an issue with my unRAID server: it shuts down (at what appears to be) randomly by it's own. Hardware: My server is an CWWK Q670 motherboard with an i5-14500 cooled by a Noctua NH-D9L, 32GB RAM, a couple NVMe, and as PSU a Corsair SF850L. All inside a properly cooled Jonsbo N3. Software: I have been running 6.12.15 for months now and started to think maybe an update would solve this weird problem, a few days ago I updated to 7.1.2, nothing changed, same problem. My server is at my parents home, which is a flight away from mines, so not easly accessible, however with the use of tailscale it's basically a no problem. Also, on the BIOS settings, I have it set up so it always powers on when it detects power on the wall. So, this way, when the server powers off alone randomly, after 5 minutes or so it is powered back on like nothing happened (except it started a parity check). The way I started noticing this was with the use of uptime-kuma I have on a VPS monitoring some of my services and alerting me that they are down and then back up again after said time. As you see it's not that much of a problem thanks to that BIOS setting, but it's starting to bother me and especially worrying if it could scale to something worse (actually losing data, etc.) So, I have no VMs, I do have a lot of dockers, and some SMBs. All the components are brand new and no more than 8 months old so still in warranty (except hard drives). I had a hard time getting the logs, since by the time I realized something bad happened the system was rebooted and lost all log data since it's stored in RAM. I saw in this forum you could enable Syslog Server to an array share, I did that. The system is rebooting at least once a week. Last time was this morning, the time before that was 2 and a half days ago. Also, I had a smart plug lying arround and decided to use it on my server to monitor power outages. All correct, so I guess the problem is my server itself. For reference, the last unexpected shutdown was around 2025-06-23 07:13:56 UTC+2 Time (This is when I received a warning so maybe a little bit earlier). I also happened at 2025-06-18 16:07:17 and 2025-06-15 20:44:26. I think all of this is in the log. I am aware all this is most probably hardware related by what I have read, and that I should run memtest and try another PSU, the PSU I won't be able to do so until I go to my parent's on August, but the memtest is it ok to do it from home? Or should I be there? I would attach the diagnostics file too, but unraid is not creating anything, the last one I have is from months ago (at least I can't find anything). I don't know what else to say, thanks to anyone that reads me. :) syslog-192.168.1.127.log

WebUI unreachable upon changing server hardware.
Oh my god, just a second later of posting this I thought "May this be something realted to the ethernet port on the motherboard?" (It has 2 ethernet ports). Well, I changed it to the other one and now it works. Going to leave this here in case it can help someone!

WebUI unreachable upon changing server hardware.
So I changed to a new server, keeped the usb, of course, and all the drives are the same, but new motherboard, cpu, ram, psu. I started the new one and it looked great on the monitor. It said AERON is up and the ip assigned was 192.168.1.127, all good as always, but then I couldn't get to the webui. I have unraid webui through an specific port to avoid problems with other ports and it's always since been accessible via https://192.168.1.127:10443 I then powered off, plugged the usb to the old server (with no drives attached to it) and i could actually get to the webui, it worked at https://192.168.1.127:10443 So I got the diagnostics of that old server where i can access the webui and attached them in this post (are the ones i took at 13:52) Then I went to try again to the new server, same result, doesn't work, so got the diagnostics for that and are also here (the ones at 14:03). I did all of this with docker and vms disabled both of them btw. Thanks. aeron-diagnostics-20241204-1352.zip aeron-diagnostics-20241204-1403.zip

Unable to acces unraid server on LAN
I made sure the cable and switch are working. The problem is on the server side. The thing is, I just tried to plug ethernet through an ethernet adapter to usb 3.0, that way I am avoiding using the NIC on the server and the ethernet connection goes from the USB controller to the CPU, am I right? Anyway, it is not working anyway. The same problem. Does it give you more info to work around?

Unable to acces unraid server on LAN
Is there something I can do to narrow down the options why this happened, or I can assume it is just faulty hardware on my server and I have to “replace” the NIC?

Unable to acces unraid server on LAN
When I went to sleep yesterday the server was working perfectly. Today I woke up and couldn't acces plex on my TV, I then realized that I couldn't even acces the unraid gui and any docker container I have. I went to check if the server was on and indeed it looks like it is. LEDs on, fans on, disks spinning, all seems good. Even the ethernet cable has the two LEDs on and blinking. I tested the cable with my laptop and it works. I then went to my router dashboard and my server doesn't show up there. It's not conected to my router, so naturally I wasn't able to access it. But I can't for the love of god understand why. I haven't changed anything overnight, and the ethernet cable works. I tried rebooting the server and it did fine. When I plug a display it tells me that the server is available at the usual static ip i gave it a year ago. I am clueless. Without being able to access it I don't know how could I get a error diagnostic or something to help you more. I haven't done any change to hardware in more than a year, and any change in software in weeks. The OS version is 6.12.5.
