UNRAID instability on N6005 since 6.12.* (Crashes every 48-72 hours)
Guest agent is installed now, I had not installed it before as it was never an issue. So it appears I was totally wrong about just the VMs crashing, the whole OS is crashing. So either something is totally broken in UNRAID or there's a hardware issue. unraidrouter-diagnostics-20230910-1632.zip

UNRAID instability on N6005 since 6.12.* (Crashes every 48-72 hours)
Latest random crash after a couple of days of uptime. This time rather than rebooting, the VM just paused.

UNRAID instability on N6005 since 6.12.* (Crashes every 48-72 hours)
It's a home lab and I've been running the firewall in a VM for years across different types of hardware as many people do. This is an UNRAID box purely for virtualisation of the firewall and DNS, no important data is stored on it. I was clear that it was running in a VM. Is your comment supposed to help in any way or is this a telling off for doing something wrong? If you have any suggestions that could help, it would be appreciated.

UNRAID instability on N6005 since 6.12.* (Crashes every 48-72 hours)
Hey, I've been running an N6005 NUC with the 4 x 226v 2.5G network ports as an UNRAID device that hosts my home assistant, pihole, and mainly my firewall since the start of the year, with no issues. After 6.12.* my UNRAID is crashing weekly, recently it is every couple of days. I've noticed in the system log I have some errors. ACPI is disabled in the BIOS. Unassigned Devices - Managing Disk Drives and Remote Shares Outside of The Unraid Array
I installed the Dynamix File Manager and set the permissions for group and other to read/write, this appears to be how the other UD folders are cofigured - it's weird that UD did not use the same permissions it had configured on the other drives, the issue is now resolved.

I've changed the UD SMB setting but how would I reset the permission on the drive? Thank you.

Unassigned Devices - Managing Disk Drives and Remote Shares Outside of The Unraid Array
Hey, I just added a new SSD to unassigned devices. I formatted it btrfs and mounted and shared it without issues. I have set up unassigned devices to share via SMB with read/write permissions for specific users. I have 4 SSDs that I access via SMB (shared by UA) with the configured permissions without any issues. For some reason on this new SSD, my user doesn't have write permissions despite it being configured in the UA SMB settings. It's working fine on all my other drives. Any idea why UA hasn't applied the correct permissions to this new device? I moved files to the mounted drive via the terminal without issues, I just can't add files via SMB as apparently I don't have permission. I can read without issues. I've tried to remove and reapply the SMB permissions, and unmount / mount the drive. Not sure how to fix this, any advice would be appreciated.

Did you force secure connections? Make sure you are using https in the URL, by default the docker WebUI link will go to http.

Hey, Thank you for the work on this docker! How often does this docker get updated? I'm getting notifications in discord from the bot that there is a new version as of two weeks ago.
