  1. Is this still working for anyone else? I'm a licensed user for MyMedia for Alexa and have setup the container to point to my audiobooks. Signed in with my Amazon account and enabled the MyMedia for Alexa skill. The Windows app works fine but the Unraid docker just says "Not Connected" in the top left hand side. I've totally removed the docker and all settings from appdata related and setup from scratch and still have the same issue. Just wondering if anyone else still uses this via Unraid and has it working?
  2. Thanks - I'd already started moving everything from the cache to the array. I've just formatted but used xfs as the file system (I only plan to use one cache drive). Mover is now moving everything in appdata / domains / system back to the cache drive. Once that is done I'll do a memtest but hopefully formatting the cache drive will do the trick!
  3. I've been having an issue recently with this error - This will result in all of my docker containers failing to start or stop. This is what happens when I try to start a container: I've tried to expand the size of my docker image which hasn't helped. It's now at 50Gb but it seems the docker image is corrupt, not full. I stopped the docker service and then deleted the docker image. Then re-imported all my containers. Overnight I get the same error message in the morning. Does this suggest the disk is failing? It's a 1Tb SSD that is less that a year old 😒 or could it be something else? The only way to get it working again temporarily is to reboot the server, or stop and start the array, then the docker service. Here are my diagnostic logs if anyone can take a look: tower-diagnostics-20250819-0951.zip What are my next steps here? Memtest? Thanks 😁
  4. Well, I feel kinda stupid now but I'm going to tell you what fixed this, just so you can have a laugh at my expense 😅 My TP-Link router has some parental controls which can block various types of sites with each family member having their own profile. Somehow the MAC address for my server ended up on my daughters profile which would block any type of file sharing - Funny how it wasn't blocking anything else, but luckily I have multi-layer protection for the kids internet access 😇 I did use your suggestion and it pointed me in the right direction. I knew it was not any settings / containers in unraid because I was running on a fresh USB with no config. So that got me interrogating the router logs.. Hah. Wasted more hours than I care to admit working that one out but many thanks for your help Jorge!
  5. That is a good shout, I wasn't sure if I could do that without breaking anything! I'll give that a shot now
  6. Hi JorgeB, when I intentionally broke DNS it did give me a popup prompt to enter those addresses which I did. It didn't solve my issues unfortunately. When doing an NSLOOKUP it does find the correct addresses but cannot ping those. Traceroute doesn't even hit the gateway where on other addresses it does without issue. It's really strange!
  7. Hi all, I'm running the latest unraid build 6.12.13 and started having a problem with connectivity within my containers, namely sonarr and radarr. I normally connect to a known indexer which has been failing recently so in order to troubleshoot I tested this on my own Windows machine which works successfully. Bypassing any container mis-configurations I've tried to ping this site using terminal in unraid which comes back with no response. NSLOOKUP does return valid information but I'm unable to ping the address (again this works on my Windows machine) I've checked the network settings in unraid and all looks good. I even reverted to using my ISPs own DNS for testing purposes with no luck. I broke DNS on purpose which then fails to load any info in the APPS section of unraid - I've since restored those settings. I can ping many other sites without an issue but still failing to my specific indexer (but only from within unraid) Can you provide any further tips on troubleshooting? tower-diagnostics-20240917-0958.zip

  9. Hi all, I'm having a really strange problem with plex transcoding using an NVIDIA GPU on my unraid server. I've setup all the required variables for plex to see the nvidia GPU and it works 100% of the time using the mobile app and asking plex to convert. Using nvidia-smi I can see the transcode running on the GPU. This problem only seems to affect media transcoding in a web browser or the plex windows app. Windows app shows: An unknown error occurred (4294967279) when trying to force a lower quality transcode. Unraid server: 6.12.8 Latest Binhex-plex app i5-3570K CPU 16Gb ram NVIDIA 1050Ti 4Gb So I'm running lower end hardware which I will likely upgrade in the future, shifting the transcoding to my GPU to save my CPU for other tasks. Do you think I'm having problems due to the 1050ti capabilities? Is there any logs I can check to see why the transcode is not working? When this happens I see the process in nvidia-smi then it quickly disappears and the media is not transcoded but watching in the mobile app the transcode keeps running. I tested the same thing in Jellyfin and everything works 100% there. Only difference I see between the two is nvidia-smi for plex shows: plexmediaserver/Plex Transcoder and jellyfin shows: /usr/lib/jellyfin-ffmpeg/ffmpeg Tried various other Plex variants available from the apps section but they all display the same behaviour. Bit of a pain knowing I paid to test the service and the free alternative seems to perform better! Can anyone point me in the right direction to see why this is not working in the browser and windows app? Thanks
  10. Well it's still running which is a good sign. I replaced the thermal paste on the CPU. Thought it was worth a check and it was looking pretty grim. Think that might have done the trick!
  11. Hi Jorge I did have a look through the system log and it did seem there was a reboot (or two). Hardware issue would be strange as I've been running another freeware NAS software on that box for the past week. The only thing I've introduced is the flash drive. Unless the parity check is particularly demanding and could be bringing some problem to light. Thanks for your quick reply 🙂

  13. Hi, new unraid user here 👋 I'm doing my first parity sync with x2 4Tb drives ETA was around 9 hours. I've got about an hour into the process and it says Parity Sync Finished, which I thought was odd. When I checked parity was still invalid and array has been stopped. This has happened twice now. Can anyone check the logs I've linked to and tell me what's happening please? >>Screenshot of toast (parity-sync finished)<< >>Logs here<< Rather modest system but using an old desktop for testing atm MSI H61M-G35 i5 3570k 16Gb RAM x2 4Tb WD Purple x1 Sandisk 120Gb cache drive
