  1. I am no expert at all but i would assume its down to disk permissions maybe? If you wish to add it to the array backup important data and wipe the disk.
  2. Fair played @dlandon and @uCoreX, sorry i couldnt be of more help, just in the door from work, fixing motors an pumps all day, the joys!
  3. The option was there and i used it mate, set ripper and makemkv containers to output to a shared folder on the mac.
  4. UNRaid 7.0.0, having trouble copying to a mounted SMB share, I can see the contents of the shares and copy/move the files to UNRaid, but I have no option of /mnt/remotes/ when trying to copy from UNRaid disk shares back to SMB shares, I had makemkv and ripper extract to smb shares, can no longer do so as the path is not available, doesn't show as an option, I can cd into /mnt/remotes and see the shares there.
  5. Apologies dlandon, I never copped that... I have deleted the post and asked in the correct forum, thank you.
  6. Evening @rix have installed ripper app and added BD drive device, however its not seeing CDs, is the MakeMKV beta key needed for ripping them? Update: Disabled privileges and it does detect the cd, but starts an completes rip in a second… Also noticed a fresh container install defaults container output as /out… i changed it to /out/Ripper/CD but still same one second rip… open error: /dev/sr0 [read/write]: No such file or directory Not sure why this occurs, my device is sr1 and sg3. Another update: So the fix posted above had some problems, constantly detecting CD when it was not there, and constantly ejecting the drive tray. My fix for ripper.sh is ${DRIVE:=/dev/sg3} And all DRV:1 reverted back to DRV:0
  7. Thanks @SpaceInvaderOne for the reply and help, in the end i give up on the whole Mac VM, terrible iommu grouping on the mobo am using, only one usb controller, needed a dgpu as well. In the end up i added a few quid to the cost of parts needed for the vm and bought a second hand M2 Mini!
  8. Evening folks, i have passed through my intel wifi device into mac vm and it works fine until i shutdown the vm. Restarting results in the same error as the AMD reset bug. I made a script to reset, as mentioned in @SpaceInvaderOne video, and it did reset… however this has snowballed into another issue as well, UNRaid usb errors with missing key file and i then have to reboot the server anyway. Has anyone any idea as to whats going on? I will add that am pretty new to UNRaid.
  9. Evening all, thanks @SpaceInvaderOne for this vm. Install went great and running fine, however i cannot get internet working at all, i am not new to bare metal hackintosh but this has me stumped. I also passed through my intel wifi, and inserted Airportitlm kext and snapshot the config plist (unfortunately with OCC, as propertree will not run on this version of BigSur) and its not showing or enabled. Any help with this please. Sorted: Macinabox defaults helper script do not work for me but editing the xml with the following has: <interface type='bridge'> <mac address='xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx'/> <source bridge='br0'/> <model type='e1000-82545em'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x05' function='0x0'/> </interface>
  10. Been having an issue with the S3 sleep plugin, after waking the flash drive is reporting as missing keyfile or corrupted. Now could be down to user error, brand new to UNRaid, but so far this is the only problem am having. Any help or pointers would be much appreciated.
