  1. updated. booted and my cache pool threw the 'invalid pool state' error. Mild panic, read the forums, sorted it. Click the pool name. Remove it. Recreate it with the same name. Add the drives as per last pool. Done - been stable since.
  2. Hardware AliExpress bkhd n100 green 16gb ram ddr 5 2 * 256 GB nvme 4*3tb red 8tb WD 14tb WD parity Fractal 804 Transcoding 4x uhd works amazingly I even wrote a user script to WOL my truenas off-site backup, rsync key shares, then ssh shutdown. And I don't really know how to write scripts... The forum was so helpful
  3. I wanted to geek out, fettle, spend weeks sorting it. But... It just works. The array was easy, the cache setup was easy. The dockers just work. After the array built, I sorted the dockers. No dramas. No endless researching. Uptime now 12 days without a hiccup (I lie... I put a lower case share in a docker path, which took me a single forum search to fix). And to top it off, the support forum is just nice, and detailed. Title obviously in jest - what a fantastic product.
  4. hi, apols for dragging an old post up. I have just tried this plugin on 6.12. I get the same behaviour, big CPU spikes every 5 seconds and the system slows down. I removed it and all back to normal. Did anyone find a reason for it.... i likes the fact my disks didnt spin up when browsing
