Solutions

  1. Dominoes0522's post in Auto mount of SMB shares via /etc/fstab not working was marked as the answer   
    Based on the info HERE I changed to:
     
    //192.168.50.110/Disk5 /mnt/Disk5 cifs x-systemd.automount,credentials=/root/.smbcred 0 0
    //192.168.50.110/Disk6 /mnt/Disk6 cifs x-systemd.automount,credentials=/root/.smbcred 0 0
     
    This now works for me :)
