going from usb to ssd boot
Dont know if this is the right section for my question, but here we go. today i succesfully setup the beta patch and made my ssd the boot device, everything went oke. rebooted and it asked for my key, so i plugged in the usb drive and all worked perfect. question is, do i need to keep the usb plugged in, so it boots from ssd, but gets my licence from the usb? of did i forget to do / change / anything? tnx for the help in advance ;)

Yet another parity question
Could not find the specific answer to my question. But i would like to get, yet again back to a parity drive. But the problem i had, due to the live writing to my parity disk 24/7 if i copied or moved something, the system eventually crashed / frozen after some days. So hence the reason i removed parity, and now unraid is running more stable then ever. Now my question is, is it also possible to have a parity disk, but NOT let it update the parity disk realtime, but lets say onlu once a month or how i want same as you would do a read check.

How many TB's is your Unraid Server?
64TB array atm, with an extra 16TB parity disk. And a cache drive of 2x1TB in mirror mode. Also first post here, so hello everyone :) greetingz from The Netherlands.
