  1. tnx! im good with the fact it boots from usb and pulls the licence from the usb. dont know if i stick with this hardware mobo setup, so its good for now. tnx for the clear reply!
  2. Dont know if this is the right section for my question, but here we go. today i succesfully setup the beta patch and made my ssd the boot device, everything went oke. rebooted and it asked for my key, so i plugged in the usb drive and all worked perfect. question is, do i need to keep the usb plugged in, so it boots from ssd, but gets my licence from the usb? of did i forget to do / change / anything? tnx for the help in advance ;)
  3. could a ZFS filesystem have been the problem?
  4. Noooooo🤣
  5. I love the product, But my OCD is killing me🤣 how do i get rid of those slider bars? Is that the correct term?
  6. mhm oke, not what i hoped to hear, but tnx for the reaction what can those crashes come from then?
  7. Could not find the specific answer to my question. But i would like to get, yet again back to a parity drive. But the problem i had, due to the live writing to my parity disk 24/7 if i copied or moved something, the system eventually crashed / frozen after some days. So hence the reason i removed parity, and now unraid is running more stable then ever. Now my question is, is it also possible to have a parity disk, but NOT let it update the parity disk realtime, but lets say onlu once a month or how i want same as you would do a read check.

  9. 64TB array atm, with an extra 16TB parity disk. And a cache drive of 2x1TB in mirror mode. Also first post here, so hello everyone :) greetingz from The Netherlands.
