  5. How are you trying to do this? What created the files? Are you actually logging into your server and what is the user name? (root is excluded from logging onto a share for security reasons.) One thing to try is look at your shares from a terminal or PuTTY session. After logging in, type the following command: ls /mnt/user -al You should see your shares there. The owner of the shares should be 'nobody' and the group 'users'. Now get a list of the files inside one of your shares by hitting the 'up-arrow' key and using the 'right-arrow' and ''left-arrow' add the name (capitalization is IMPORTANT) of one of your shares as exampled in the following: ls /mnt/user/Media -al Again the owner of the shares should be 'nobody' and the group 'users'. If this is not the case, this is your source of your problem. Report back with the names and someone will be able to help you. is this what you are talking about login as: root Last login: Sun Feb 21 21:38:35 2016 from 192.168.1.5 Linux 4.1.17-unRAID. root@Tower:~# ls /mnt/user -al total 7371854 drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 80 Mar 5 2012 %LocalAppData%/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 240 Sep 29 13:22 ./ drwxr-xr-x 10 root root 200 Feb 21 20:54 ../ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 11072 Feb 21 21:39 Movies/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 2048 Nov 26 18:06 Music/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 5136 Feb 20 19:43 TV/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 48 Sep 23 02:07 Usenet/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 464 Feb 19 13:04 appdata/ -rw-rw-rw- 1 nobody users 32212254720 Feb 22 15:47 docker.img drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 168 Sep 8 21:48 downloads/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 48 Dec 21 2011 lost+found/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 80 Nov 11 2011 sickbeard/ root@Tower:~#

(root is excluded from logging onto a share for security reasons.) midnight commander is my only way to erase them now One thing to try is look at your shares from a terminal or PuTTY session. 7. all files on any share cache or not files were downloaded and were able to be erased yesterday yes I can copy new file over but once they go over the turn into read only and I have to log into midnight commander to delete them
  8. all my files turned into read only I did not change any setting and when I try to erase a file it says I do not have permission tower-diagnostics-20160221-2106.zip
  9. yeah same thing happened to me except everything changed to read only so now I cant erase anything and sonarr wont start for some odd reason
  10. if you pick nzbget and sonnar I can help you out just recently upgrade to those and It was fairly easy
  11. I tried it your way and I couldn't get sonar or couchpotato to post process but I switched it to this and couchpotato nzbget plex and sonarr all work properly I just cant get transmission to snatch torrents and cant get headphones to work at all and I convinced that emby is broken
  12. /mnt/user/downloads so what about the cache it seems to have created a share and now I don't have space to download
  13. OK so trying to test couchpotato and I ran into this error [hpotato.core.plugins.base] Failed opening url in FileManager: http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMTkzNDIxNzE5OF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwODMxMTExNTE@._V1_SX300.jpg Traceback (most recent call last): ReadTimeout: HTTPConnectionPool(host='ia.media-imdb.com', port=80): Read timed out. (read timeout=30) 09-07 20:45:40 ERROR Mind you I have no idea what to put in the settings this is what appears in nzb get [hpotato.core.plugins.file] Failed downloading file http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMTkzNDIxNzE5OF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwODMxMTExNTE@._V1_SX300.jpg: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/couchpotato/couchpotato/core/plugins/file.py", line 79, in download filedata = self.urlopen(url, **urlopen_kwargs) File "/usr/lib/couchpotato/couchpotato/core/plugins/base.py", line 215, in urlopen response = r.request(method, url, **kwargs) File "/usr/lib/couchpotato/libs/requests/sessions.py", line 469, in request resp = self.send(prep, **send_kwargs) File "/usr/lib/couchpotato/libs/requests/sessions.py", line 577, in send r = adapter.send(request, **kwargs) File "/usr/lib/couchpotato/libs/requests/adapters.py", line 431, in send raise ReadTimeout(e, request=request) ReadTimeout: HTTPConnectionPool(host='ia.media-imdb.com', port=80): Read timed out. 14. ok perfect thats what I have but do you know what I put here so I can test it
  15. yes the appdata share is set to cache only so let me get this straight just so I understand couch /data should be mnt/user/data instead of mnt/user/downloads and transmission should be mnt/user/data? I think he is talking about the container volumes, and you are talking about the host paths. container volumes are those in the settings of the app? like this
  16. yes the appdata share is set to cache only so let me get this straight just so I understand couch /data should be mnt/user/data instead of mnt/user/downloads and transmission should be mnt/user/data?
