  1. I figured that was the case. Thanks for all the quick feedback.
  2. Based on my quick test I believe the answer is no. When I deleted a file from within .Recycle.Bin it was permanently removed as one would expect. But I have noticed that the .Recycle. Bin in each share actually puts the share units path after .Recycle.Bin. So for example I have a share called "Books". When I delete a file from the share I get the following path for the RecycleBin: /mnt/user/Books/.Recycle.Bin/Books/filename I assume this may be due to the settings in the plugin where the parameters is set to %S. Is that correct? And thank you so much for all the work on this.
  3. Right. I don't manage files usually from the disk share, but I was just testing it based on the text from your earlier post: Haven't tried it, but in theory if the folder is created at the root of the drive, it will automatically become a user share. Probably a hidden share. I'm not sure exactly how this would work. I may fire up the test server and play with it. I thought I'd test it and report back to save you from having to fire up a test system.
  4. You won't see a .Recycle.Bin folder in the shares until you delete something from that share.
  5. Yes I did. I followed the instructions to the letter. It doesn't bother me that the folders are on those disk shares, but I just wanted to report it as it appeared to be an item of question. I deleted all the folders by hand and the hidden share ".Recycle.Bin" went away. Then I tested deleting a file from "disk1" and the .Recycle.Bin folder was created on disk1 as expected. This does cause a hidden share called ".Recycle.Bin" to be created. Honestly this does not bother me as it is hidden.
  6. I have a .Recycle.Bin folder on all my disks after installing the plugin. I have my disk shares set as public but hidden. Using telnet I can list all shares at mnt/user and it does show a hidden share called ".Recycle.Bin". The share is not listed in the webGUI. In the SMB settings I have hide dot files set to "no", but the .Recycle.Bin share does not show up in windows explorer when browsing the tower. It also is not accessible via "\\TOWER\RecycleBin" or "\\TOWER\.Recycle.Bin".
  7. Does this mean it will empty the .Recycle.Bin for all shares that are located at /mnt/user, such as /mnt/user/Movies, mnt/user/TV, mnt/user/Music? How would one have a share mounted outside of /mnt/user? The Unassigned Devices plugin?
  8. I found the issue where the user could not browse to the recycle bin in windows explorer. There were some incorrect Windows credentials stored for tower that had the wrong username stored.
  9. Is the setting for Recycle Bin Users a comma separated list of unRaid users? I setup the newest version today on a server and I can not access the recycle bin through Windows explorer. I can access ".Recycle.Bin" if I go through a disk share such as "disk1", but I can not access the user share called "RecycleBin".
  10. I guess it is good I don't need to change it then.
  11. Thank you for working so diligently on this plugin. Not only is it now comparable with 6.1, you have made it more functional. I really appreciate it.
  12. I'll look but I am pretty sure it is running. Users can connect and are taken to the proper locations when connected. I tested it today after seeing the posts here and realizing I upgraded to 6.1 without knowing it could cause issues with this plugin.
  13. The plugin is working fine for me on unRaid 6.1.0.
  14. @dlandon I got it up and running properly this time. It does start and stop properly and the empty trash button does work. It would be nice to have to full folder structure. Right now it seems to skip the share it comes from.
  15. Stupid user error. My test would probably have gone better if I had remembered to also upgrade unRaid to 6.1...
  16. I did exactly that. I first emptied the trash, then stopped the old plugin. Then I removed the plugin using the weGUI. After that, I restarted unRAID. I verified the plugin was gone and then installed the new one.
  17. I've tested it and it loads up just fine and items do go to the RecycleBin folder. The Empty Trash button within the plugin does not work though.
  18. I'll be a guinea pig and test it out. I'll update Unraid now then install and give it a whirl. Have you made all the edits that were in the last few pages of this thread?
  19. Same here. I won't upgrade without this. It has saved my bacon a few times. Once when I wasn't using it, I somehow lost some projects I had worked on for a week. I am still not sure how it even disappeared, but I am sure if I had this plugin loaded I could have recovered it. Luckily I had old versions I was able to use. I installed Recycle Bin again right after that panic.
  20. The parity check finished with no corrections. I've done as suggested and things seem to working okay. Thank you all.
  21. So I should run a parity now after the rebuild-tree has finished? If there is an issue with md1, is it possible to pull the drive and replace it with a new one and have it rebuild from parity and the reiser issue I had originally get fixed and not risk loosing anything with the rebuild-tree command? Or can a reiser issue like that actually get stored in the parity as well?
  22. I didn't even realize I could do it from the GUI now. I'll have to look and get familiar with that. I did run the command and it finished. There was nothing in the lost & found folder. Whatever was corrupt is just gone, and I have no clue what it may have been. This issue has brought up some questions though. What is md1? The drives are sda, sdb, etc. I have never seen a md1 drive. Was this an issue with a single drive or is it something that is spread across devices?
