  7. Yes, the last 3 completed parity checks have had correcting parity checks. Currently i am on the 4th run and its at 7%. what was set right was the automatic monthly check. that was doing a check only and not correcting anything, however, that's not corrected to also do correcting parity checks. syslog-2015-08-08.txt
  8. ok in unmenu i found the script that does the monthly check and it was set to "NOCORRECT". i have changed it to "CORRECT" http://Tower:8080/pkg_manager?select-monthly_parity_check=Select+monthly_parity_check Description: This package installs a script that will schedule a monthly parity check on the 1st of the month at midnight. Use NOCORRECT if you do not want parity to be automatically updated. Use CORRECT if you do want it automatically updated. It is recommended that you NOT automatically correct parity, since it might be a data drive that is in error, and the parity drive might be correct. Challenge is determining which is correct, and which is in error. unRAID normally assumes the data is correct and parity is wrong. Pressing the "Check" button on the web-interface will check AND update parity based on the data disks As for the check you advised me to do again, it finished and now shows 3333 errors, so its dropping. Running another check now Last checked on Sat Aug 8 13:47:47 2015 ADT, finding 3333 errors. Last checked on Sat Aug 5 2015 ADT, finding 6266 errors. Last checked on Sat Aug 1 2015 ADT, finding 5500 errors.
  9. Yes, it does monthly check, however, they only check from my understanding. The last two I did were check and fix in maintenance mode I wa not aware that you can do what fix with a fully online array. Sorry for not being 100% clear.
  10. ok finished "--rebuild-tree" and "Check will start a Parity-Check.Correct any Parity-Check errors by writing the Parity disk with corrected parity." after a restart, i still see this message in unmenu STOPPED, unRAID ARRAY is STOPPED 7 disks in array. Parity is Valid:. Last parity check < 1 day ago . Parity updated 6266 times to address sync errors. any ideas?
  11. reiserfsck --check /dev/md6 returned for me to do a --rebuild-tree. Found the following post so i have started it already. hopefully it fixes all my issues. http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=Check_Disk_Filesystems http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=8403.0

  13. Thanks for the quick reply, "\$" worked just fine.
  14. Hey PhAzE, i have a issue with changing my password in the plex settings that you have (v2). Since the accounts were hacked and such i changed my password from using just uppercase and lowercase to other charters like $ and such and your plugin will not validate the new password. if i change the password to remove the "$"'s it works fine. 15. i think i found the issue though not sure how to fix it. when you shutdown sonarr, its running /etc/rc.d.rc.Sonarr shutdown. and within that fine i done see any mention of the Mono pid only Sonarr # Read our configuration file and set variables APPNAME="Sonarr" DISPLAYNAME="Sonarr" PLGCONFFILE="/boot/config/plugins/${APPNAME}/${APPNAME}.cfg" APPCONFFILE="config.xml" APPEXECUTABLE="NzbDrone.exe" PHAZECOMMON="/usr/local/PhAzE-Common" STARTFILE="$PHAZECOMMON/${APPNAME}/startcfg.sh" PIDFILE="/var/run/${APPNAME}/${APPNAME}.pid" source "$PLGCONFFILE" # Send the kill command to gracefully shutdown kill $(cat "$PIDFILE" ) 2> /dev/null # Begin a timer for shutdown, force kill process if not shut down by end of timer TIMER=0 while [ -e "$PIDFILE" ]; do let TIMER=$TIMER+1 sleep 1 # Process has ended but PID file remains, so remove it if [ ! -f /proc/`cat "$PIDFILE" 2> /dev/null`/exe ]; then rm "$PIDFILE" 2> /dev/null fi if [ $TIMER -gt 30 ]; then echo "Application has not shut down yet, killing the process" sleep 1 kill -9 $(cat "$PIDFILE" ) 2> /dev/null rm "$PIDFILE" break
  16. so i just upgraded to pro to add in some new HDD's and i stopped all my plugins and tried to down the array. waiting 15 mins and all it was logging was attempting to unmount over and over. i did a top again and see mono and after i killed the pid for that one service, the array stopped without issue. it does seem that sonarr is my problem however, i don't know why 1. it keeps the array from stopping as you advised it should not keep it from stopping 2. when i stop the plugin "sonarr" why is it not killing that that service?
  17. Hello All, ever since i installed a cache drive i have to manually stop the pids to get the array to stop. I am trying to figure why the cache drive is still showing busy even though all the services are stopped. its pointing to Sonarr however, i have the service stopped and cannot access the webpage. has anyone seen this? 18. 9926 was the version just released. I was able to repro that on two boxes, so I'm curious to see if you repro it on yours if you upgrade. I just actually saw the same issue on my win7 box too. Didn't have time to dig into it but adding a password on the share fixed that box up again. I feel like SMB shares have been pretty squirly since I upgraded unraid to 5.0.6. Maybe I'll try to throw my backup back on there and see if it fixes things. Here are a few test i did today Unraid version 5.0.6 SMB: Public Export: Yes Workgroup: WORKGROUP local master: yes Fresh install of 9841 no domain(Workgroup): Was able to hit my server without issue Fresh install of 9926 no domain(Workgroup): Hit the issue where i needed to add a user account to unraid or add the reg key listed above. 20. i like the idea about creating user names from your liveID minus the @domain.com. i've added mine and its working great from my windows 8 and 10 PC's now. only issue is you cant create a username with a dot for some reason.
