  1. Check the links in the OP for the documentation and forum for some help with this.
  2. There are multiple HandBrake support threads and it is confusing which one is which. The standard for the dockers seems to be to have a thread with the author included in the title. Can you change your thread to "[support] djoss - HandBrake"? It would be clearer that way.
  3. Updated to the latest docker. Can't get it to fail now. I use Fast 1080p30.
  4. All I have is VOB files to convert. Only when adding files to the que so far.
  5. I used the latest docker. Debug log attached. handbrake.debug.log
  6. I added ripped VOB folders to the que and the docker died when I added a folder. 7. I just got the docker to fail. I have ripped DVDs in VOB formats. I selected four of them and added them to the que. I then clicked start conversion and the docker failed. 8. Sorry. I'm used to Ubuntu and didn't catch that your docker is Alpine Linux. I was just messing around when I got an error. It was something to do with not having permission on something. Let me try to catch it and get you more information.
  9. I've had a chance to work with the HandBrake docker and have found a few instances where the docker dies when working with the que and initiating conversions. I haven't been able to capture any meaningful data to help troubleshoot issues though. I would suggest caution using the 'edge testing' version as it may not be stable. Would it be better to use a stable branch repository like this one 'ppa:stebbins/handbrake-releases'. Overall, this is the best implementation of a HandBrake docker I've seen. The UI is excellent!
  10. Your issue is with the preclear plugin and not UD. UD does not preclear disks.
  11. I'm not sure how any of you with the disk spin up issue are creating this situation with UD installed and uninstalled and determining that it is a UD problem. I have a drive mounted in a docking station in my test system and I was able to make this happen. It happens with UD uninstalled. The problem appears to be in the background monitor script built into unRAID. This should be posted as a defect in unRAID as I can make it happen without UD being installed and monitoring enabled.
  12. I cannot reproduce the problem and can therefore not make any kind of fix. I have all WD drives and do not have this problem. No one is giving me anything definitive that I can use to try to find the problem. Just saying 'It's broken' gives me nothing to work on to find the problem. Are the UD drives mounted or unmounted? Is there a UD script on the drive that is spinning up? What is the controller the drive is connected to?
  13. The original location of the Zoneminder logo is no longer available and I had to put a copy of the logo in my repository. When you update Zoneminder, the logo will turn into a '?'. To get it back search for Zoneminder in CA and apply the default template and enter your settings. Sorry, I should have captured the logo and put it in my repository to begin with.
  14. You shouldn't have to do that. The recycle bin issues the command for samba to reload it's configuration and works just fine for me. EDIT: When the samba configuration is reloaded, unRAID will reconfigure the share settings on an event. The recycle bin will add the settings it needs when the event is triggered. This is done on a one minute interval so there might be a delay before the vfs_recycle is initiated in samba.
  15. Using rsync does not require SMB write access. Ransomware cannot access the drive except through SMB.
  16. Yes. Use the User Scripts plugin and set up a script on a schedule to mount the device, run your script, and unmount the device. The downside to this is that you need to mount/unmount using the /dev/sdX designation and it can change on each boot. You could add the logic to look up the /dev/sdX for the device and then use that to mount and unmount it. The UD script to perform mounting and unmounting is documented in the UD plugin help. EDIT: A better way is to leave it mounted and limit access or set limited permissions with SMB. That way it can't be written to.
  17. The appdata/HandBrake folder is set to root:root ownership and not nobody:users. The PUID and PGID settings need to be added to the docker template to set the permissions on the appdata/HandBrake folder properly (PUID=99, PGID=100) for unRAID.
  18. You have Seagate drives. It seems to be related to Seagate drives. The only difference in UD being installed or not installed is that with UD they can be mounted and the temperature is checked when the UD webui is active. Checking the temperature on some drives causes them to spin up. UD does nothing to the drives that is related to SMART except to set a sleep timer on the drive. What happens when UD is installed and the disks are not mounted? What happens when UD is installed and the disks are mounted?
  19. Fixed. I added additional text to the help and tool tip. Help is your friend again!
