Show the listing of the files that are giving the problem. It may be easier to cut and paste the text rather than a screenshot.

Sorry but I think all the files are giving me problems. I see nothing under user when I go into MC. I have been using MC flawlessly for about a year to move files.

Change to correct permissions with the newperms command, e.g. "newperms fileOrDirectory"
I ran that and still cant not move items I get permission error. And nothing showing up in mc neither

I have not been able to move files around no my server. If I try through windows explorer I get a permission error saying that I do not have permission to move file. I tried using MC but my files are not showing up. I have always used MC in the past and I would go under user inside MC and see all my shares. But now there are no shares under user. Any help would be great I do not know what happened

I did not preclear a new 4tb drive and it got the red ball. So I took it out of array and ran a preclear. The preclear only runs for about 30 minutes and never gets past step 2. I am attaching the preclear reports hoping someone will see a problem. Thanks

Thanks again wombat. I did fix error from last week that you commented on over at plex. But I see these errors now.
Previous errors were caused by files that were moved off my cache drive and I had plex app to use cache only

I have pms installed on my unraid. I'm using the latest version for VIP members. Connecting remotely is not working and I'm getting the error can't play video. When I open plex app remotely I see my server and files but can't play them. This is the second time this week this has happened. I fixed it last time but can't remember if I reinstalled plex or just stopped and restarted it. On gone network it seems like everything works.

What version of the Plex server are you running?
In running the newest one released, I purchased plex pass. Sorry I'm at work but I believe it is .9.8.3

I have a netgear wdnr3700 router but I did install dd-wrt on it and I made a QoS making plex a higher priority

We were using Windows Media center with no problems. But I want to switch to plex. I have watched a few things on a plex client but it's a PC that doesn't need anything transcoded and it played fine. It seems like the transcoding is the problem. In wanting to use roku for one TV and set up raspberry pi in another room or two. But if I can't figure out the lagging it can't happen

I have mostly mkv files. I did try an mkv bmi ray on the roku 2 and it was horrible. I'm also trying to stream to me cell and selecting 3mbps for quality and still get constant pausing.
I think my PC is plenty powerful enough, amd 965 quad core.

I'm wired on everything on my lan and getting gigabit to everything. I still can't figure this out. Tried watching movie on my phone and I get pausing every 10-15 seconds.

I am wanting to use plex for watching videos on roku and remotely with my cell phone. I currently have Plex media server installed on my pc which has an AMD 965 black cpu. I have read that is plenty of power to transcode multiple streams at the same time. But I am still getting lag and pauses all the time. I do not believe my Unraid cpu is power enough to transcode, it ia a Intel Celeron E3400 2.6GHz dual core.
I am just trying to figure out if the problem has something to do with files being on separate pc than the media server. I have set up shares that are on plex to only use the cache drive, dont know if that is correct. Today I set up the temporary transcode folder for Plex server to be on the drive of the pc with the server. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

3GB is definitely not enough for those plugins. They all use a good amount of RAM. I'd recommend 8GB personally. Stopped having issues after I went from 4 to 8.
Thank you for the reply. My mobo can only support 4GB so I guess that I will have to move the plex server to my desktop pc. Dont know if it is worth the upgrade of the mobo and pcu

I did install plex media server the other day and problems seem to have started after that. I did see in log something about low memory. I am no computer expert and have a few questions. How would I check how much memory is being used? I currently have 3GB of ram going to upgrade to 4gb today hope that will do it.

I keep getting sickbeard and sabnzb shutting down on my server. I have to go in a restart them for them to work again. I do not know what to do and looking for help. When they are running they are fine but few minutes after restarting them they stop
