  1. Hmmm, get me a list of which drivers and firmware you are using with your current cards and I'll try and take a look You're meant to be away on a break! Step away from the Media Builds
  2. The new "Monkeyair" build is up and running, but I'm curious about a couple of teething problems. Some DVB-S channels are now taking about 15 seconds to switch. Also when I select "Start to record" from kodi during an active channel I am told that the recording has started, followed by recording deleted. I am able to record unactive channels through Kodi. I think that I have experienced these problem with previous builds, but can't think of a common solution. Any ideas or is this due to the dreaded Digital Devices Linux drivers?
  3. I am now charging an admission fee to see the shrine. Business is slow at the moment but I am sure that once word spreads of the Monkeyair build breakthrough, the masses will come!
  4. I don't believe you Did the card work in windoze? Still waiting for the preclear to finish! zzzzzzzzzzz Then I'll get on it It takes a few minutes to preclear a 6TB drive I have noticed Looking at the links from the media build guru it looks like he is on to the solution. I am already building a shrine in my garden to worship the mighty CHBMB "Lord of media builds"..... All hail "The chosen one!" I think that you will agree that it's coming along quite nicely..... so his <expletive deleted> doesn't stink then ? It most certainly does not Sir! On a more serious note, a big thanks to CHBMB for all of your hard work on the builds mate. Thank me if that one works mate, don't count chickens... Like I said I'm not that hopeful... You should have more faith my friend! I now have 6 tuners running and its looking good so far.... Early days, but so far so good Fantastic news, I'm really pleased that worked as I had bugger all idea what to do if it didn't! Thanks again fella!!!

  10. Ok it's sorted now. I realised what I was doing wrong.... I added a new container volume to the docker, showing the location of the timeshift. All good now. Cheers
  11. Can anyone shed some light on a problem with recorded TV? I have been unable to record anything to my recorded TV location. It is set up correctly as far as I know and I have an amended GO file. All tuners work fine through KODI, but have caused problems when trying to record programs. I can access previously recorded media on the HDD and play it, which suggests the locations are set correctly. Having done some problem solving, I think that its linked to the playback through TVHeadend. When I play a channel through the GUI with the profile set to pass, it initially starts to play and then freezes. If I hit the play button in WMP it then plays just fine. With the profile set to HTSP, channels will not play in the GUI. If I try to record a program through the GUI, it goes through the motions and shows recording. However, when checking the info it tells me that its waiting for the stream. My stream profile is set as pass by default. My access entries are set as default to allow all access. I have tried other TVheadend builds and found the same problem. I am running RC3. Any ideas?
  12. That's a great tip. Cheers What a strange few hours that GO file has caused me! You will be pleased to know that the new build is working fine. TV chanels switch quickly. Recorded TV FF just fine. The other strange thing was the mindlna docker. It just wont have two /media files under the new build. When I deleted one media source it works just fine. Strange, but I can live with just the one for now. Thanks for the work compiling the new build
  13. What's in your go file? great minds..... You just beat me to it. I have discovered that the changes deleted the info from my go file. I'm trying your RC2 build again now armed with that info
  14. Or maybe not as soon as I thought....... I've reinstalled unraid on the usb drivand added the media tree for beta 15. Then updated the plugins with saved setup info. when i run ls -la /dev/dvb i get cannot access /dev/dvb: No such file or directory Apart from a completely fresh reinstall and reconfigure (reconfigure TVheadend :'() I'm running out of ideas.
  15. If you want to update to RC2 try this as I've created a media build. My drivers aren't in the kernel by default so I can't test it, be really grateful if you tried. I tried the RC2 build. All seemed fine apart from my DVB cards were not picked up by TVheadend. The other thing that I noticed is that min-DLNA docker stopped working. However, going back to beta 15 I have no DVB inputs now either. doh! Hmmm, can't see how the min-DLNA thing may have arisen. If you had no DVB cards then it might be your drivers aren't included but can't explain why they didn't show when you rebooted beta 15. Have you changed the config in the docker? No, I didn't change anything. I just dropped the new BZ files into the config and rebooted. I just tried to reinstall the docker, but still no DVB inputs. So I think that I'll reinstall Unraid and try putting my config file back in.

  18. Just run it with all the same mappings as you have now but rename the container. Then you can flip between the two and no need to reconfigure. Sort of like this but keep all the folder names the same, I've just received a replacement tv-tuner so I'm trying out two different configs. I'll try that thanks. The updated TVHeadend build works a treat! Fast forwarding is fine. Good Job!
  19. Ok, thanks saarg. If it helps at all, the TVheadend build that is used in the TVHeadend plugin had no issues with fast forwarding. I used that prior to upgrading to your fine docker. Ok, will do. Try the version of that I PM'd you about - it's Saarg's build but a pretty recent build, if the problem goes away, then hey presto, it's a problem with the docker version that just needs an update.
  20. I think my problems may be due to me needing to use a cookie file in the config. I'm getting there with it, but struggling a bit with saving the cookie file for "tvguide.co.uk". Im not really sure how to get this file.
