  1. I doubt it since it's not the "headless" setup most of people here use. If it was the case, the whole concept of backing up to other computers wouldn't make sense. But who knows. Maybe I should look into a different solution altogether, like SyncBackSE.
  2. Crashplan desktop is the least of my worries. My main concern is that Windows client shows unRAID as offline after reboot. I will keep monitoring and report back.
  3. I have a problem with crashplan not being accessible after reboot. I wanted to back up files from my Windows machine to unRAID share (basically this). So, I installed crashplan and crashplan-desktop dockers on unRAID and downloaded a client for Windows. Both machines use the same account. Everything worked fine after the initial install and configuration. I was able to see unRAID under computer destinations in my Windows client and back up there. But every time I reboot unRAID, neither crashplan-desktop nor Windows client can connect to unRAID. unRAID shows off-line in Windows client and crashplan-desktop times out trying to connect. What am I doing wrong? Screen shots of my setup are here. Edit: seems to be an issue with crashplan docker autostart after reboot. I stopped both crashplan and crashplan-desktop. Then started crashplan, waited a few minutes and started crashplan-desktop. It was able to connect. Then unRAID became visible from Windows as well. Any thoughts how to avoid this issue during reboot?
  4. I have a similar problem. I wanted to back up files from my Windows machine to unRAID share. So, I installed crashplan and crashplan-desktop dockers on unRAID and downloaded a client for Windows. Both machines use the same account. Everything worked fine after the install. I was able to see unRAID from my Windows client and use it as a destination for my backups. But every time I reboot unRAID, neither crashplan-desktop docket nor Windows client can connect to the crashplan backup engine. I have to inactivate unRAID using Windows client, restart crashplan docket, configure it using crashplan-desktop and re-add as a destination from Windows. It's a real pain! Any thoughts? Screen shots of my setup are here.
  5. You can mount an smb share using the Unassigned Devices plugin. Once you mounted the share, add it to the Emby docker volume mappings
  6. Thanks! For R7000 the setting is called "Clients will use this VPN connection to access". Once I set it to "All sites on the Internet & Home Network" it worked.
  7. Ummm... Doesn't seem to work that way. On my local LAN I use 192.0.168.XXX:8112 to access Deluge WebUI, for example. But I can't do the same remotely even when I'm connected over VPN. What am I missing?
  8. Hi guys, A very noob question. I'd like to be able to access my unRAID shares externally as well as control Deluge and couchpotato. I assumed I should use VPN for security. I have Netgear R7000 router with built-in support for dynamic DNS and VPN. I enabled both, installed certificate on my Android phone and verified that I can connect to VPN using dynamic DNS. But what do I do now? How do I access Deluge and couchpotato over VPN? Port forwarding? If so, which port(s)? Also, what is the best way to expose unRAID shares over VPN? I'm very new to this concept, so a detailed guide / explanation would be greatly appreciated. Or, at least, point me to a thread that discusses this kind of a setup. I searched support forums, but couldn't find one that is generic enough. Thanks!
  9. Checked cache. There is nothing there except docker image file. Any other ideas for troubleshooting? Thanks!
  10. Hello! I have the same issue: one of my shares shows 'some or all files unprotected'. I have a single cache drive, but the share in question configured to not use cache. Running mover didn't make a difference. Parity check comes clean. I'm very new to unRAID, please help troubleshoot.
