  1. Nope. But it's on my to-do list. I can indeed buy a cheap firewall but where is the fun in that.. Ok, so i'm on a new adventure: cheap hardware for pfsense...
  2. Not that i know of. My dockers are pyload, dropbox, transmission and BTsync. None of them are accessible outside my local network. I use the router given by my ISP (Belgium) and they cannot be changed. Anyway, this might be the perfect excuse to build a pfsense box.
  3. Hi, i see strange login attampts in de log-file. Am i being attacked? 116.31.116.41 => Guangzhou, Guangdong (30), China 191.177.26.115 => Curitiba, Parana (18), Brazil How bad is this and what can i do about it?
  4. Hi, we're having a LAN-event soon and i'm thinking of using my unraid rig as a 2-player gaming machine. Do i have to change my hdd-config? This is how it is now: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gn9gi2cqy3z2qhd/unraid.jpg?dl=0 Would it be better to: - ditch one 1TB drive - buy another 128gb ssd - use the two 128gb ssd's for each windows os (not in raid) - use the 80gb intel ssd as cache Is this the correct thing to do or can i just install another win VM using the current layout without losing stability/performance? Thanks in advance!
  5. Ok, thanks for the quick reply! I read the (unofficial) wiki several times and thought it would switch over to storing information on disk 2 once disk 1 hits 1000gb free. So i misunderstood The split level-thing is something i don't fully understand yet. But i will, in time...
  6. Hi, i'm new to unraid but i got it up and running with a win10 vm and succesfully passed through my r9 290. But i have a question about the allocation method. I'm not sure i set it up correctly: As you can see my 2tb drive is filled up well over it's 50% capacity despite using the high water allocation method. Do i have to assign the hard drives manyually in the 'share settings' tab? ps: i will use picture links instead of embedded pictures if necessary
  7. Same here! I do not get past the blinking 'Remix OS' black/white bootscreen... Maybe through the virtualbox plugin...
  8. i'm from Belgium, English is not my native language. Hi, i'm taking my first steps with unraid and i'm looking for motherboard, cpu and ram for under €500. My plan is to use it as a win10 gaming rig, nas and plexserver. I also would like some room to experiment with other os'es like linux, chromixium etc. What i have: The plan is to sell these setups and buy a new set of mobo-cpu and ram. This is what i had in mind: So i googled a bit more and decided to follow the blue path: This is what i keep: What unraid key should i buy?
