    Seems to have resolved.

    Turned out to be a badly seated sata cable and the docker image become corrupted. I was able to see the SMART error on Dashboard to reveal the 'UDMA CRC error count' Googling this informed me it was likely sata / comms related. I'd backed up 1 week earlier so I managed to replace the image.

    Its ok... just realised I never changed the slots back to 1 slot. changing that brought it back to normal.
