  1. Figured it out. I named my media server the same name. Sooooo the media i was trying to connect to was acutally the deleted container of the limetech plex container remaining as a authorized device on my account confusing the heck out of me. You can't access media to add a library when the container doesn't even exist to have permissions lol. After trying every plex docker out once or twice trying to see if it would be different the duplicate new server appeared, not sure how i didn't see it. deauthorizing the old docker took away the ghost. Now i just gotta rebuild from the ashes.
  2. Thanks for the suggestion notyourserver-diagnostics-20200315-0512.zip
  3. I recently added a parity drive and updated plex from the limetech version to the plexinc version. When i was doing some maintenance i found files that used one of my other profiles despite me only using that profile for smb folder access. Also my plex wasn't allowing new files i added to the media folders to be seen when scanning for new files. Anyways i was looking up the issue and it was suggested to use docker safe permissions to reset the file permissions. I reset the perms and now plex can't see folders any deeper than the data folder /mnt/user/media when i go to add folders and it says playback error saying it can't tell if the drive is mounted or not. I can play my media files from my explorer just fine. Though that is using the other profile in explorer for file acess, but i am logged in as root on the web acess in network. When i checked the ls -al everything was drwxrwxrwx down to the files which had full rw owner nobody. I just updated to latest stable hoping something would change and nothing has. I am a relative noob with linux. Basically anything i do is look it up copy paste. Please help !
  4. I've tried tape, it's almost like a magnet to my son he has to peel it off. Coins can work, but only if the button is flush which unfortunately mine wasn't, we will see what the new drive is like, x fingers. Found a couple cases that might help but both have power buttons pretty prominent outside of the doors too... gotta figure something out though.
  5. Pretty much..though i did break a couple figurines too.
  6. Been there done that. Now if only a good spanking was 100% effective on a 2 year old.
  7. The title says pretty much what i need. After avoiding the inevitable from happening one of my kids snapped my Bluray drive disc tray off. Now i need to buy a new one but that would be pointless without some safety precautions. I can't move the server to a safer location for the foreseeable future. I am looking for a more child-safe case with a door. With that said if there is a less expensive or free solution i much prefer that since i don't really have 80 bucks for a new drive let alone another 80 for a case with a door (guessing on the price). I've been looking but it seems like the solutions require you to be in an OS like ubuntu or windows to disable it. I was wondering if there is a way to disable it in unraid and use a software button to open and close the tray. I don't see any dockers or in os options and i don't know of any hardware solutions unless there is a Bluray with a child safety lock on it that someone knows of that isn't too expensive. Any ideas Thanks, Grimmdus
  8. Thanks for the reply, I ended up deleting the config folder again as well as uninstalling teamspeak client and its configs for a full wipe on both server and clientside. Worked this time around. Thanks for your hard work! Grimmdus
  9. Hi, So I had a working ts3 server and one day it just wouldn't connect anymore. So i have tried reinstalling both the docker and the client and i have tried deleting the AppData manually to reset the server, the problem is when i go to log into create the server for the first time it doesn't ask for my privilege key is just attempts to connect then doesn't. Not sure if this means that it is still seeing the old server despite me deleting the AppData. Maybe i am missing a file somewhere? i have deleted the files taht exist in the appdata on the cache and on the main share. both folders named binhex teamspeak. The server even started up giving me the first time the important message with the privilege key. Not sure what is going on...any ideas or experience is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Grimmdus
  10. Awesome thanks for the fast response. gonna try out the command line plugin first. I've seen more than a few mention doing stuff through the command line and I've been able to get around without it. This time, however, the teamspeak3 linuxserver.io plugin specifically said it was important to use command line instead of the WebUI for the logs, so i figured I'd finally start looking into it. Thanks again for your help!
  11. So half the stuff I have looked at mention to do something via the command line. I may be blind but I haven't seen any option for command line in my servers webgui. Is there a plugin/docker i need to install. Am I supposed to be using a 3rd party program to ssh in to a command line? If so what is there a link to a tutorial on doing this? Grimmjsb
  12. Thanks again guys, working great. That makes the docker set up make sooo much more sense to me.
  13. Thanks squid, the issue was definitely the container vs host. I was putting the path in host because the container field wouldn't search my folder paths so i thought for whatever reason that field was for the config only I just got it to work. Thanks everyone!
  14. So this is a share problem with my dockers in general?
  15. last one Also will do on the post i didn't notice the sub forum when i went to post, but i'll definitely make sure next time
