  1. Unfortunately that didn't work. I know, its been a while, but I had to reorganize my drives today, and after swapping bays. I see them in the new order on the system devices page but no /dev/sdx assigned to the swapped drives. When I run echo "- - -" > /sys/class/scsi_host/host7/scan" nothing special happens. They don't obtain a /dev/sdx I've had to reboot, and now evertything is back to normal.
  2. Hi, did you ever find out? I am in the same boat and I can only find info about changing the console resolution
  3. I have managed to install arcconf, seems like this is what I need. Now I have to fool around with it when the time comes!
  4. Hi everyone, I have an Adaptec 51245 controller for my drives. It works very well, but I have a problem : when I swap a disk, even though it supports hot swapping, I need to reboot in order open up the Adaptec Raid Configuration utility from boot to tag the drive as JBOD so it can be used by unRAID. Do you know if it is possible to install the Adaptec Raid Configuration utility in order to do that from command line without rebooting? http://storage.microsemi.com/en-us/support/raid/sas_raid/sas-51245/ They list downloads for Redhat, Debian, Ubuntu and others but nothing for Slackware. Thanks for any help, I don't want to start installing stuff and messing a completely working setup
  5. Finally managed to start it. I have symlinked /etc/proftpd.conf to the real one like so: ln -s /boot/config/plugins/ProFTPd/proftpd.conf /etc/proftpd.conf
  6. I have the same problem. I have just installed the plugin, added the ftpuser tag to a user's description. Now if I enable proftpd it doesn't start. The only thing I see in my syslog is : Nov 19 20:35:00 Tower emhttp: cmd: /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ProFTPd/scripts/rc.ProFTPd buttonstart but the server is not running. If I try to start it manually using shell: root@Tower:/etc# /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ProFTPd/scripts/rc.ProFTPd start Cannot start ProFTPd -- /etc/proftpd.conf missing
  7. Yes indeed, I came here to say I figured it out by editing the config file today! I finally got everything setup. Now if that pesky message could go away Thanks for your work and support, for the newbs like myself
  8. To my best knowledge and from everything I have read these messages are purely debug only, they are not errors. What settings are not saving? this could all be due to the fact rutorrent does NOT modify tTorrent settings. I well be cranking down the logging which will stop these messages filling the log Sent from my LG-V500 using Tapatalk It reverts many settings from the GUI back to default everytime I restart the docker, and also loses track of where the torrents were moved to. They are all on pause until I "save as" to the right place without checking the move files box, then I need to recheck the files and then I can start them again. Currently I have to uncheck DHT and Peer everytime, change the port, and also adjust the default download directory after every restart. It seems like a few settings that were set on first start stay, but some don't. If there is any way I can log the stopping of the docker to see if there are any write error of some sort, that would be great
  9. I have that same error too, and I can't save any settings in my ruTorrent. All other dockers are working correctly. Currently on 6.2.4. I have tried reinstalling my rTorrent but it still does the same thing. This seems to have happened when I did an update of the docker a few days ago and it is currently non functional
  10. Aaaah that's the missing bit! Thanks for your input! Can't try it right now though but I'm keeping note of it
  11. Unfortunately that didn't work. I ended up rebooting the server, causing chaos in the house because kids were watching a movie! Some kind of "refresh drives" button/feature would be neat!
  12. Hi everyone, I'm a total newbie when it gets to unRAID as I am only on my 3rd day using it so please bear with me So far it works great but I'm trying to figure out how I can prevent from having to reboot when I add disks? I am running an Adaptec 51245 controller with disks as JBOD in Rosewill 4x3 enclosures. Every device detected at boot work great, but when I add new drives (is that called hot-add?) unRAID doesn't see them in the unassigned section. If I go to Tools / System devices, the "new drives" appear in the SCSI devices list . Is there anything I can do to have unRAID detect those drives without rebooting so I can preclear them, stop the array, add them, and restart the array? The drives are WD10EALX and WD10EARS Thanks!
