NOT working for me still. Signed out and signed back in. Still see same error. And now I can’t even deactivate the backup. Was going to try that and then re-activate before trying the backup again. Not sure where to go from here. Ugh.

Having exact same issue. On latest release and getting same message of 'Failed to Sync Backup'. This seems to have been an issue for many going back to 2022 and here we are in mid-2024. Can someone from the Lime Tech please explain how to resolve this as of now because all the previous posts about resolving it don't work. Or if someone else has a clue on how to fix this then please advise.

Just a thought, can you not point your Calibre database folder (or files it looks for) to the same Folder that your LL files download to? (I only speculate as I JUST am about to set this up, and you brought up the same valid question that I was thinking)
Thanks. I got it working a while ago. I just followed the instructions related to the Thraxis docker and I got it working for automated downloads. I also have the Calibre docker looking at a Watch folder so I can add .epub manually. I used this when migrating my epub collection from Apple's Books app.

Can someone with a good, solid LL workflow share how they are using LL along with Calibre? I know there is another Thraxis docker that people seem to favor for this integration. But I also see people here using what seems like a simpler method of having LL add books to a Calibre ‘Add Folder’ and then Calibre adds those new books to it’s db when it is launched. My goal is to use the Calibre features to easily side load books on my Kindle/iPad via email. I’d rather not have to manually add these new LL books to Calibre. So before I do down the path of using the Thraxis docker vs Linuxserver docker, I’d just like some suggestions on the right path to take for this automation. Seems like plenty of people are happy to use LS docker and some ALSO use Calibre. I done a lot of reading of the threads and googling, but just can’t get the complete picture of a *best practice* automation for books.

@fuzzewuzze Can you briefly write up how you got this finally working. It’s hard for those of us who follow the thread to only see “I think I have it working now” without any details on *how* you got it working. I’m just now setting up LL and want to use Calibre as well.
Question for anyone: I have an existing Calibre book library on my local Mac. I would like to move all of this to my Unraid server. I already have other media automation dockers running so am familiar with that process. Want to add LL/Calibre automation. Do I just copy my existing Calibre book library (which contains Calibre .db) over to a /books share on my Unraid server and then point this docker at that? What would be my Calibre client at that point? Do I mount my /books share on my Mac and continue to use the Mac Calibre client for any metadata updates, or do I need to switch to using something like the Calibre-Web docker as a replacement?
I’ve done a lot of googling to try to find a single guide for setting this up and all I find are bits and pieces without the full story.
Thanks.
Unraid Connect: Failed to Sync Flash Backup

@ljm42 This is still not working for me. In some ways it’s worse as before I could deactivate and reactivate even if the back up was failing. Now it does nothing. Can’t deactivate or back up. Tried logging out and back in to Connect and that didn’t do it. Stuck. Can you help?
